Absolutely Wondrous stay. Where do I even begin? First, I was quite the lucky gal in having found this gem -- and, I am so tempted to keep it a secret! But, guilt abounds -- so, I have to say that from start to finish, our experience was extremely positive and stress-free. I was also able to get work done, as the dwelling as lots of tables for me to read the newspaper and complete some tasks! I was traveling with my husband of 40 years and our grown children, one of whom was a student at the University of Puerto Rico. Please do not believe the other reviews -- all the STAFF, the drivers of the golf carts in particular, were so accomodating in whisking us to and fro the Casitas to the Resort. And, rental managers -- PLEASE give these staff a Christmas Bonus! I wish I could remember their names. Second, my husband is not a golfer but a tennis player and we were able to use the tennis courts to play with one of the available tennis pros (you have to pay the pro, obviously). There is also a great pickle ball instructor with a wondrous smile and encouraging attitude and he has a FREE clinic at 8:00 a.m. Second, our unit was super clean and equipped with EVERY imaginable amenity and a bag of Jasmine Rice! IF YOU ARE A COOK WHO WANT TO UNLEASH your INNER JOSE ANDRES, they have wondrous stove and accompanying kitchen gadgets. I didn't want to leave! Third, you have to understand how to navigate entry into the El Conquistador resort (but, who wants to a place with that name when you have your own mini-resort available?) Since, Paul and I traveled to Palomino Island well over 25 years ago, you may want to see if Casita guests (for a nominal fee) can go --- BUT, don't worry if you cannot do this -- You should encourage your rental guests to travel to CULEBRA instead. What else can I say? We are in our sixties, so at one point it was a little confusing to deal with the communication from the rental managers via text (but, this was NOT their fault as they comforted us when we asked if the expedia rental was a scam-- we just couldn't believe we were getting to stay at such a nice place! WE ARE ALSO not tech saavvy!). Now that we understand how it is advertised in EXPEDIA.COM as a 2 bed 2 bath at Las Casitas, we will book again! I cannot wait to return. Finally, thank you so much to all the staff. I can imagine -- not easy to deal with tourists, or inconsiderate people and you all handle everything with aplomb and a genuine welcome, Puerto Rican Style! I appreciate your making my family feel welcome and next time, I WILL BE TAKING down names to thank you properly!

Rental car was scratched in parking lot. Parking is already $17 per night. Security and “supervisor” of parking name Rafael did a horrible job at helping us resolve the issue and he had no clue what he was talking about and could care less about our problem. Ruined our vacation experience.

Lovely villas, accommodating helpful staff, many options for children. La Casitas Village quieter, beautiful infinity pool and all main hotel restaurants and activities a 5 minute golf cart ride, always available. Beautiful beach on their island, accessible with boat reservations. Only disappointment, long waits at most of the restaurants and food not remarkable.

We stayed at Las Casitas in Fajardo for spring break in 2024. This is a beautiful resort with a lot to explore and do. Having all the facilities available from El Conquistador was great and kept our family busy. I didn't get to play the course on-site but it looked amazing. 4 stars for the resort as they weren't fully up on customer service. Some of the staff were just ok. You could tell they didn't have seasoned group and were lacking a few people to take care of all the guest. However, they did their best and we were overall satisfied with the stay. Our room had an ocean view and it was beautiful. The water park was enough to keep our kids busy. We enjoyed walking/exploring around the resort to all the different areas but they will also pick you up with golf carts to get you where you need to go as there is a lot of elevation. Overall, I definitely recommend Las Casitas and wouldn't hesitate to go back. With some improvement to service this place would be outstanding.

Las Casitas Village is a cluster of privately owned homes adjacent to the El Conquistador (EC). If you rent a casita through EC you have full access to the EC resort. Our 2-bedroom casita was lovely...full kitchen, patio overlooking the water, well maintained and well suited for our friend trip (or equally, families). The Village itself is quiet -- it has three pools including two beautiful infinity pools and one small restaurant opened limited hours. Getting to the EC is about a 15 walk...they offer golf cart rides - but we found it was faster to walk rather than wait for a pickup. Regarding the El Conquistador Resort itself...not specifically the casitas...we had fun but it's so big it's like walking around a cruise ship. We had to factor in a lot of travel time to get one one place to the other. One of the funiculars down to the marina (location of the water park and boat to their island) was broken creating long waits at certain times. Food was mediocre.
