Beautiful old riad with very warm hospitality. Fabulous breakfast and lovely restaurant in the courtyard garden. Special thanks for understanding and catering so well for a gluten free diet. Would thoroughly recommend - right in the medina.

The ambiance at Palais Amani is dilapidated and grungy, and I think it gets covered under the concept of a ‘quaint Riad’. The pictures on the web are misleading; the rooftop ‘bar’ is not a bar, the Hamam is tepid, the rooms, especially Room 2 is very uncomfortable and should be avoided. I was in the mini suite and for the price, it was seriously underwhelming. The breakfast is minimal, the drinks at the bar lack creativity and the food is overpriced while being bland. However, everything can be overlooked if one feels welcomed and pampered. This is seriously not the vibe. Mohammed, the manager, and the staff overall have an unhelpful attitude, and one almost felt like apologizing for asking them anything. There is overall a feeling that they are doing you a favor; and anyone in the service industry will know that this comes from the top. Unfortunately our experience has not been the same as the rave reviews that other people have posted here. Not sure why. Racial?

Beautiful place and nice staff but totally overpriced for what it was. There are tons of other gorgeous places to stay that are more affordable. The restaurants recommended by the hotel were tourist traps. The rooftop doesn't have a view except if you go up on the gazebo which is blocked off to guests. Overall I was a little disappointed.

Wonderful place to stay. Right in the heart of everything yet so quiet. This riad gives you the real feel of Morocco, much better experience than a modern hotel. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was so friendly. The rooms were cute and the shower had good pressure and hot water.

A brilliant luxury Riad in an excellent location with fantastic staff, definitely would stay here again! The restaurant has a variety of authentic, tasty dishes. The hammam and spa is an experience not to be missed leaving you feeling refreshed and ready to take on another day exploring the Medina!
