Fantastic hotel! Beautiful architecture hidden away and fun to discover. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Beautiful rooftop garden and lounge with views of the city. The restaurant was fantastic seating indoors or in the courtyard. The bar and bartender were world class.

The Palais Amani will go down as one of our favorite stays ever. We were there four nights and just loved this riad. Its old-world elegance, incredibly attentive and friendly service as well as the restaurant and cooking school met and exceeded our expectations! If you are going to Fes, this is the perfect place to stay. But even if you don't stay at the Palais Amani, experiencing their cooking school or dining at there restaurant will not disappoint!

This Riad was created from a former luxury home inside the Medina of Fez. As soon as you walk from the narrow allies of the Media in through the door to the garden/fountain area in the courtyard, you feel the transformation. A moroccan mint tea is served by a Tea Master to welcome you. The hotel is a beautiful, peaceful place full of art, craftsmanship and luxury. The meals and the staff were first-rate. Our room was huge, with a great bed, beautiful sitting area and lovely big bathroom. After adventuring around the Medina during the day, we enjoyed terrace level level with a magnificent view of Fez and the surrounding mountains. Thank you to the staff of Palais Amani. The Palais Amani is a beautiful riad with excellent service and delicious food. It's conveniently located just inside the wall of the Medina with parking for drop-off/pickup a short three minute walk away. Breakfast was plentiful! We had dinner there one night and it was lovely. We also participated in a cooking class, which was excellent, and had a hammam. A wonderful experience. Would highly recommend Palais Amani for an upscale, luxury stay.

We were met outside the Medina by two porters who took our luggage and guided us to Palais Amani which was thankfully pre-arranged. It was a lovely surprise after entering the front doors to this riad. Beautiful courtyard with a fountain and dining area all surrounded by lots of trees. The mosaics and tiles on the floors and walls were fabulous! It was like entering an oasis. Check-in was done in the courtyard and we were welcomed with tea and sweets. Our grand suite was exactly as described but, the only drawback was that the lighting was not sufficiently bright throughout. Breakfast was good and was traditional local style with eggs cooked by order. In house dinner menu options were unfortunately limited so we went with the hotel's recommendation one night for a local spot which turned out to be more touristy than local. But, another night we had a very late lunch and wanted something light to eat and the kitchen accommodated us by making something off-menu. I was only able to have a 45min hammam treatment due to time limit and, it was relaxing though short. We enjoyed the spectacular views and sounds of call to evening prayer on the rooftop terrace. The staff are friendly and very helpful. This riad is very close to all the exciting sounds and sights within the Medina.
