Reviews for Four Seasons Hotel Firenze

Flawless luxury experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

This hotel is absolute perfection. I echo others in saying we had a flawless stay. The hotel has the perfect balance of gorgeous historic architecture and furnishings but with fully modern amenities and meticulous upkeep. There is not a scuff mark, ding, or dust anywhere and the intricate design details and gardens are amazing. Service was outstanding throughout our stay, particularly from the doormen, front desk staff and housekeeping. They recognized us, always greeted us warmly and anticipated our needs. We were celebrating an anniversary and the hotel gave us several personalized surprises in our room that truly wowed us. Room service was wonderful and breakfast in the restaurant was also delicious. We were very happy to use the convenient free shuttle to get in/out of the historic center nearly every day. When we booked our Florence trip we split our vacation between the Four Seasons and St Regis and, in retrospect, we were sorry we switched hotels. At the St Regis we kept comparing it to the Four Seasons and, while very nice and less costly, it did not come close to the amazing level of the Four Seasons. Yes, the Four Seasons is expensive but we felt it was worth every penny. We have stayed at a number of Four Seasons, including Maui, but this one has truly topped them all.

Top end in all ways.

The front door staff was 6 ****** on arrival- friendly and accommodating. They handled our parking neatly and welcomed us in. We enjoyed coffee and sweets in a lovely patio and garden. The chocolates were lovely. The gardens - only for guests use- may be the most beautiful in Florence. The full menu is said by friends to be among the best in the city, recommended for lunch or dinner. Prices are proportionate to the quality reputation and setting. Spa, Gym and other services are beyond expectations in understated Europe. Curious travelers check prices before reserving. A special shoutout to the Front manager and doorman, perfect waiter and all the gardeners.

Perfection!

Perfection! Just far enough from the chaos and confusion of the touristy center but close enough to walk everywhere. The garden is delightfully soothing and magical. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and warm. The food exactly what you would expect from Four Seasons- perfect. The spa and fitness was heaven- pristine, luxurious, quiet, a haven. Fitness was above and beyond. My room was gorgeous, spacious, bright, and everything I would want from a 5 star hotel. One of my top 5 hotel stays ever.

Flawless hotel experience

We had an amazing stay at the Four Seasons in Florence. The hotel is somewhere between a spectacular museum and art gallery. The lobby is part of an historic Medici Palace, with the walls adorned with frescos and a large statue in the centre of the space, and throughout the hotel and its grounds are beautiful art installations. The grounds were green and lovely - the largest private garden in Florence - and well worth exploring. There is an outdoor swimming pool and fantastic gym and spa joined by an underground tunnel. There are also exquisite restaurants and boutique shops within the hotel. Our room was spectacular - a really beautiful space with tasteful decor and a huge bathroom including large bath and separate shower. There was also a seating area and large television. Our breakfast was included and was great, as were the staff throughout our stay. An amazing base for exploring Florence. The main sights, including the Duomo, are around a 15 minute walk from the door and the hotel provides a free shuttle bus to the historic centre.

Happy Lunch

I had a recent lunch at Four Season, Florence; and I always experienced a great one. Food was delicious, restaurant was relax, nature ambient and friendly staff. After the meal, we had a chance to have the tour of the hotel, beautiful. Definitely, a place to come back. Till my next visit in Italy!
