Stay amid one of the largest private gardens in the city, bordered by an ornate villa and Renaissance palazzo. Take in centuries-old art or fashions hot off the runway. Now is the time...the city is yours.

The front door staff was 6 ****** on arrival- friendly and accommodating. They handled our parking neatly and welcomed us in. We enjoyed coffee and sweets in a lovely patio and garden. The chocolates were lovely. The gardens - only for guests use- may be the most beautiful in Florence. The full menu is said by friends to be among the best in the city, recommended for lunch or dinner. Prices are proportionate to the quality reputation and setting. Spa, Gym and other services are beyond expectations in understated Europe. Curious travelers check prices before reserving. A special shoutout to the Front manager and doorman, perfect waiter and all the gardeners.

Perfection! Just far enough from the chaos and confusion of the touristy center but close enough to walk everywhere. The garden is delightfully soothing and magical. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and warm. The food exactly what you would expect from Four Seasons- perfect. The spa and fitness was heaven- pristine, luxurious, quiet, a haven. Fitness was above and beyond. My room was gorgeous, spacious, bright, and everything I would want from a 5 star hotel. One of my top 5 hotel stays ever.

We had an amazing stay at the Four Seasons in Florence. The hotel is somewhere between a spectacular museum and art gallery. The lobby is part of an historic Medici Palace, with the walls adorned with frescos and a large statue in the centre of the space, and throughout the hotel and its grounds are beautiful art installations. The grounds were green and lovely - the largest private garden in Florence - and well worth exploring. There is an outdoor swimming pool and fantastic gym and spa joined by an underground tunnel. There are also exquisite restaurants and boutique shops within the hotel. Our room was spectacular - a really beautiful space with tasteful decor and a huge bathroom including large bath and separate shower. There was also a seating area and large television. Our breakfast was included and was great, as were the staff throughout our stay. An amazing base for exploring Florence. The main sights, including the Duomo, are around a 15 minute walk from the door and the hotel provides a free shuttle bus to the historic centre.

I had a recent lunch at Four Season, Florence; and I always experienced a great one. Food was delicious, restaurant was relax, nature ambient and friendly staff. After the meal, we had a chance to have the tour of the hotel, beautiful. Definitely, a place to come back. Till my next visit in Italy!

This review is long overdue. We kept meaning to write the amazing review our (couple with tween son) December 2022 stay merited but didn’t know how to word it. The grounds and buildings are beautiful of course, but the staff members are most beautiful - the warmest, kindest, most hospitable. It’s been so long I’m not sure if they’re still there, but Madalina with her bright smile and bold glasses, Elyar with his assuring service, and Mara at the front desk ready to assist with any inquiry, as well as Sandra the hotel manager who greeted us in person on our arrival…They were amazing everyday, greeting us by name and with impeccable service, asking about our outings, providing ginseng espresso and olive oil bursting with flavor at breakfast, sharing funny stories, etc….and at our final breakfast (we were on our way to Rome), they sent us off with the most heartfelt farewell we’ve ever received from any hotel staff. We still talk about the wonderful folks at this hotel. Grazie mille!!!
