Reviews for Brunelleschi Hotel

Absolutely Wonderful with Amazing Cocktails

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of Firenze. We had a lovely room with a panoramic view of the Duomo, the bell tower and the hills of Tuscany. It was a truly spectacular view and room. Breakfast was wonderful. And I do have to shout out the bartenders - best cocktails of our sixteen day trip to Italia! Fantastico! From our first inquiry months before our arrival until check out, the service was amazing. The concierges, both Sergio and Rafeala, went above and beyond: they scheduled all of our museum visits, recommended and made dining arrangements, and arranged for a local art tour guide to accompany us to the museums and show us some of the charming sights that make Firenze such a great city. After our visits to the museums with our guide, Christina, we felt like we had just taken a really amazing art history course. Grazie mille, Sergio and Rafeala! We really, really loved our stay at the Brunelleschi. It is historic, romantic, unique to the city with service, staff, food and cocktails that will blow you away. We are so looking forward to returning one day.

Best Boutique Hôtel in Florence

We returned for a second stay at the Hotel Brunelleschi last weekend (17/11/24). It is a truly fabulous hotel, with wonderful staff. We would never stay anywhere else in Florence. Our sincere thanks to Juliana, Simone and Sergio for their care and assistance before and during our stay. The attention to detail from all who welcome you at this hotel is second to none. We will be back next year!

An absolute joy to spend time here and a gem of a hotel.

Apart from being a historical building, right in the centre and within a few paces of key sites, smart bars and restaurants, this is the most beautiful, truly special hotel. The service was outstanding. Our room was stylish with a most comfortable, wide bed and everything to make our stay comfortable - lush robes and slippers, a HUGE television and high quality toiletries. Delicious chocolate treats! The housekeeping staff came TWICE a day and asked if we needed anything, including new towels and chocolates. The bar was our favourite and after only one visit, the bar staff (Catherine?) remembered my daughter's nut allergy and under their own initiative asked if we needed particular snacks. How thoughtful! Breakfast was off the scale - every delight you could imagine and the staff explained about a particular liqueur with dry biscuits that was an intriguing addition and an Italian treat. Absolutely delicious, extensive range and something to suit any tastebuds. We were taken down into the museum and saw the ancient foundations to the building and what had been unearthed and carefully preserved. The desk staff explained availability to different sites and directions to follow and when we left they were concerned that we were walking to the station and offered complimentary drinks to take. They were genuinely CARING and made us feel special, valued and welcomed to Florence. I cannot recommend this place enough. I would return in a heartbeat.

Fabulous hotel in Florence, Italy

What a wonderful hotel, in the heart of Florence, steps away from the Duomo and all of the other sights. Hotel was magnificent, the staff was awesome, especially Sabrina, the concierge and the entire staff. We had a very early flight and they packed breakfast for us to take on the plane. I would highly recommend the Brunelleschi Hotel for anyone travelling and staying in Florence.

Bed is as hard as a rock

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We are currently staying at The Brunelleschi Hotel. The positives are the location and selection of food available for breakfast. However, the major negative is the bed is as hard as a rock. I’m struggling to sleep at night which has ruined our three night stay. We asked if we can change rooms and they informed us all the mattresses are the same. They provided an extra duvet but this hasn’t really helped. There were no mattress protectors available. It’s a shame because the main reason for booking a hotel room is to sleep and it’s the sleep that lets this hotel down. For this reason, unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again.
