What a wonderful hotel! From the moment we stepped in to the beautiful foyer we were blown away. No sooner had we checked in we were told we had been upgraded to a suite! The room was amazing and the view over the Piazza was spectacular and we could see the Duomo from our window. The service was second to none and all staff were extremely attentive without being intrusive. The view from the roof top terrace, which has a pool open from March, was breathtaking! The breakfast was sumptuous and so much choice of hot and cold and also catered for those who are gluten intolerant. The house keeping could not be faulted, the staff worked tirelessly to keep our room spotless and even readied the room for our arrival after our evening out. The location was superb as all the main attractions were easily within walking distance as were the many restaurants. We cannot praise this hotel highly enough!

Great location, great service and the hotel itself is stunning...the staff at the reception were so helpful and got us upgraded to a suite which was a dream. The breakfast buffet had lots of variety and Siffulddine at the breakfast restaurant was so hospitable and had such great energy. Overall we had enjoyed our stay tremendously and would definitely come back and stay there.

Had a great stay in a suite with a great view of the Santa Margarita Novella square and basilica. Good coffee in your room with free bottled water replenished daily. The breakfast each morning was a buffet with some items to order. The restaurant serves good food with a great view of the plaza. And you must go to the roof to see the pool area with a view of Florence and the Duomo. We were up there on a Sunday morning with all the church bells going off which was magical.

This hotel is so beautiful, with stunning art work on display everywhere. Lots of places to sit and relax. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfy! No tea/coffee making facilities and room service very expensive (€20 for a coffe and hot chocolate!) as was the minibar. That said our include breakfast was fantastic! A huge choice and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The roof terrace is the crowning glory and affords an amazing view of the Florence rooftops and Duomo. The location is very central and near all the museums and shops. The tram line and station are 2 minutes walk away. The T2 tram will take you to the airport for €1.50. Highly recommend this hotel!!!

Called into the hotel this evening after a quick search for the best rooftop bars in Florence . Here for one evening during our honeymoon trip to Italy . The receptionist was unfriendly , dismissive and unhelpful . She asked if we had a reservation and immediately stated that they were full, I explained that it was our honeymoon and we were only looking for one drink to complete our evening . She was dismissive and made absolutely no effort to accommodate us. I asked for help with finding an alternate rooftop bar to which she replied “ no we cannot recommend anywhere else” Such a disappointing end to what had been a perfect night of great food and hospitality in the wonderful city of Florence We would have expected more . First impressions are lasting .
