The Atlantic Hotel & Spa

This hotel stay was one of the worst experiences that I've had at a hotel. The air conditioner are only worked in the living room half the time. The beds are the hardest most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on. The couch was the same. The pillows were completely flat. The shower door did not even fit in the opening. You had to get in and squeeze yourself in a corner to try to get the door shut. The door was chipped at the top but I didn't notice and when you close the door it hits the tile and more glass chips off. Second night we were there a piece cut my foot open. Never had such a terrible experience.

Only one person at the front desk was working when we checked in the evening and this rude and unfriendly lady Ashley refused to honor the room reserved through reservation made on 3rd party site and wasted 2 hours. Later in the elevator we met a couple who told us they paid her $50 cash as tip to get the room they had booked. Also the hotel is old and in need of major renovations in multiple areas. This is not a resort by any means. It’s more like a large 2 star hotel at best.

Perfect location and awesome experience! Kudos to Lucy that went above and beyond to make sure that the stay with my fiancé was a memorable one! The staff is attentive, professional, and genuinely committed to provide a great service. The rooms and at the hotel are nothing short of spectacular. Spacious and elegantly appointed, the room we stayed at had a beautiful view. Will definitely let our friends know about this gem of a place!

The rooms are pretty and the bathroom is beautiful but I don't like carpet in hotel rooms. The kitchen area provides you with all of the silverware bowls plates that you possibly could need. That was very convenient. This hotel charges you quite a bit for amenities whether you use them or not. If the pool and the gym are important to you, then this may be your hotel. Otherwise, the up charge for amenities simply isn't worth it. There is a restaurant in the hotel but it's never available. It's been booked solid every time I've been at this hotel. Also, if you bring your car to the hotel you have to use valet. You don't have a choice. Whether you use the valet service or not, they charge you about 50 bucks a day and that really adds up if you're there for 5 days or more. Overall, I feel like this hotel is overpriced. There are plenty of other hotels that will charge you half the price with the same exact beach across the street.

This has to have been the best hotel experience I've had in Fort Lauderdale. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. I booked the stay for my Fiancé’s birthday and everythint was exceptional. Khalil and Lucy went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We’ll definitely be back!
