Pelican Grand Beach Resort

My fiancé and I have stayed at the Pelican Grand twice now, and we’ll likely go back at least once a year. Side note: This is my *new* fiancé, who just proposed to me AT the Pelican Grand :) We love the views; the beautiful decor in the suites, the friendly staff; the food at Ocean2000, all amazing without being at all pretentious. It’s a peaceful corner location that still gives us access to the strip, though we rarely even want to leave the property! And now it’s more special to us than ever! <3

Service was great The staff was great and polite Room was great Server Derrell at ocean2000 did a great job, was on top of everything, very polite, Pelican is lucky to have him on their staff. Restaurant staff was great, ballet staff was great. Everyone was so friendly every time we walk by a staff member they had something to say good morning how was your day. I would definitely rate this hotel very high. I would recommend it to my friends and family. I’ve been through several hotels. This one is on the top of the list.

Excellent resort! My wife and I enjoyed the resort. The staff members were nice and attentive to the needs of the guests. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The location was great and the beach was fabulous! We walked to nearby restaurants and enjoyed the views. We will definitely return to this hotel when we visit Fort Lauderdale again.

We had morning breakfast on the veranda and Derrell was our waiter. He was very attentive and was helpful with the breakfast choices. We ordered the blue crab Benedict and the breakfast wrap based on his recommendations and it was delicious.

Great views. Our server Derrell was especially nice and accommodating. The breakfast menu offered a lot and food was consistently good. When there was a drainage issue with the shower, they addressed it immediately. Adam set us up well on the beach. Annie who drives the hotel jitney was also friendly and accommodating.
