We arrived at LQF as a quick stop on our honeymoon (2 nights). We enjoyed every second of our stay here. The room was pristine and the heated floors/towel rack in the bathroom were a nice touch. The pool area is quiet and well kept. We loved how the hotel is right in town. You can walk to the grocery store, pharmacy, bank, and other restaurants right from the hotel. The area surrounding the hotel felt very safe. The staff were accommodating and friendly. They also provide a complimentary shuttle to the main hotel which is convenient if you are looking to use the gym or other facilities there.

We stayed at LQF for three nights during our visit to the winelands in a petite garden suite. The room was spacious and beautifully designed. The bath had heated floors a large shower and clawfoot tub. Our little garden was walled-in and surrounded by vines and shrubs shrubs. We also had a couple resident birds and a squirrel to keep us company. Even though the hotel is located in the middle of the main street, stepping into the hotel was like stepping into another world. The staff could not be nicer and went beyond expectations with every question we had. Sculptures all over the property integrated with the feel of being in a whimsical wonderland. The pool area was quiet and had what I think was an honor bar, as did the comfy living area where we watched rugby. The breakfast was superb with both a buffet and made to order menu. I especially liked the fresh ginger-based juice. We had dinner one night a protoge and ate at the chef's counter where we could see the care they put into making the dishes. Marvelous. I highly recommend LQF to anyone spending a little time in Franschoek.

We recently returned from our tenth stay at LQF, which remains our favourite hotel anywhere in the world. As returning guests, we were made to feel especially welcome. Earlier this year we visited France for our annual holiday, visiting Paris and St.Emilion. Nothing we experienced compared to what LQF has to offer. On our recent visit to Franschhoek, we stayed in one of the Four Quarters suites ( number 3 ). Our suite was extremely spacious and airy, tastefully decorated, quiet, and luxuriously comfortable. For a special occasion, I would highly recommend it as it is several notches above your average hotel accommodation. We were celebrating my wife's birthday, which the hotel was informed of prior to our arrival. My wife felt spoiled throughout her stay, and made to feel very special by all staff members we came into contact with, who had all been briefed that we were celebrating a very special occasion. The gardens of the hotel are immaculate and luxuriant, contributing to the overall atmosphere of peace and tranquility. In addition, it has two fine-dining restaurants on-site, Epice and Protege. Earlier this year we dined at Protege, which comfortably outperformed a Michelin 2 star dinner we had in St Emilion in April, but at considerably less cost. As very experienced global travellers, who have been lucky enough to stay at some of the finest establishments the hospitality industry has to offer, LQF remains our global winner. The level of friendliness and helpfulness of every staff member is unique, making you feel truly welcome. Given its convenient situation in the middle of the charming town of Franschhoek, look no further when choosing accommodation in the area. Could not recommend more highly.

Exquisite We stayed for 5 nights at this beautiful property & I cannot fault a single thing. We stayed in a four quarters suite which was spacious ,beautifully decorated & designed. The sculptures situated throughout the grounds were a lovely addition & the staff were extremely friendly & professional. We will definitely be back

Stayed for two night whilst travelling around South Africa. Staff gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around the grounds which are furnished with statues and art (also has its own gallery). Rooms well appointed, clean and cosy. Enjoyed a free wine tasting and quality breakfast. As we left early on day 2 they went to the trouble of providing a box of breakfast items to take on our drive.

"Thank you Linda, Alex, and all your wonderful staff, for making our holiday one we will never forget. It was fantastic!!!! We would recommend Le Quartier Francais to everyone. In fact, we have already recommended you to a nephew in England.

We had a wonderful time here, only wish we could have stayed longer! The scenery is magnificent, the town is charming, the museum very interesting, but the highlights was Le Quartier Francais. The food superb and your staff so very helpful and friendly. We look forward to another visit in the not too distant future. Congratulations on a job so very well done!

Le Quartier Francais was by far the best experience I've had at a Luxury Link property. The accommodations were amazing, the people very friendly and so many "extras" thrown in - it was like they paid us to stay there. I'd return in a heartbeat.
