Grand Hotel Fasano & Villa Principe

A wonderful hotel, but we felt unsafe. GH Fasano is delightful, “lusso naturale” indeed. The staff is superb: hard-working, attentive and kind. But we felt violated and unsafe: the saunas are a nude area, and they inexplicably, horribly, perplexingly have a reclining chairs area directly in front of all sauna rooms, where — believe me — CELLPHONES WITH CAMERAS ARE ALLOWED, POINTED TO THE NUDE AREA. Phones are actually allowed in the whole nude area. We saw a rather unpleasant man holding his phone in filming position as naked women entered the central fountain and walked around. Of course we told management. The answer was that “since cellphones have a valid use, reading, they will remain allowed there.” We were shocked and disheartened. We love this hotel, but we felt exposed and unsafe.

Stayed for a wedding and had an unbelievable experience here. Lots of attention to detail from all the staff and the restaurants are great (lunch was slightly pricey for what it was in the garden restaurant - good food but slightly small portions). The Michelin restaurant well worth the visit. Fantastic experience. You definitely get what you pay for here. Great hotel. Great experience.

This is a beautiful property with a staff that aims to always please and make your visit great. The check in process was very delayed -we arrived around 3pm and although the rooms were not ready- they said shortly. We had lunch and wine, 1 room became open, but not the room class we paid for - they were kind to move us to a proper class room very quickly which then made we wonder why our other couple had to wait more than 2 hours for theirs to be ready- which ultimately worked out just fine for them. Everything thing else from the concierge- Stefano to the bar server Mateo and the many others we infected with made our visit very nice! - it is a bit over priced - however when I watched to lake front workers constantly cleaning up the pool area and lake side chairs - even picking up after guests who left towels, food, wrappers, cups, garbage and a dirty diaper - they were there w/in 3 min to clean and refresh the space for the next guests - well done!!!

Stayed for 4 nights as a family of 5 Hotel is in a great location on the south west of the lake. Service was very good. Very welcoming. They will park your car which is helpful as the car park is pretty full of cars Rooms were good with lovely views of the lake and small balconies. Breakfast was a buffet with some a la carte egg options. Good variety and some good gluten free options Ate in the fish restaurant a couple of times - this was superb in terms of service and food We also ate at the bar in the evening. Service here was very slow and the food not so good Kids loved swimming in the lake and lazing around We took a boat trip for the afternoon down to Sirmione which was an excellent experience on the water and also looking around Sirmione (though it is very packed with tourists)

Winding down the family Summer holiday was in a perfect spot on Lake Garda at the Grand Hotel Fasano. Great views of the lake and high level customer service. We loved the the dips in the lake as well as the sun beds on the lakefront. The quality of food in all of the hotel restaurants were amazing. Had a few trips to Salò town and to Il Lemone which were breathtaking.
