Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel

To sum up the Kimpton Blythswood at Christmas experience; the only description that suffices is "divinely elegant and endlessly welcoming". This meticulously well crafted spa hotel is the height of laid back contemporary class and delicious luxury. The absolute bonus is the guests receive free spa hours too and it's an absolute treat. From the point of arrival, we were shown the warmest hospitality and generousity (special mentions to David the awesome Concierge, the lovely Ivo at Front of House, and the charming Anton at the truly superb Michelin-starred iasg restaurant!) given that we were there celebrating a very special birthday. We were overjoyed with the entire Kimpton Blythswood experience and would definitely return again. Thanks so much to all the Kimpton staff for making our stay so gloriously unforgettable. 10 out of 10 without a doubt.

Just had a lovely 2 night break at Kimpton Blythswood Hotel and Spa. Doorman David welcomed us with a smile and helped us with our large load of luggage including a travel fridge for my daughter’s medication and artificial nutrition. Reception staff were welcoming and we did not wait too long before we were in our room. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good, lovely atmosphere and helpful staff. Room and bathroom were very clean, plenty of fluffy towels. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order, plenty of toast and coffee, no queuing to make your own toast or coffee. If Anton serves you at breakfast it’s a great start to your day. Unfortunately the government told us to stay indoors the time we were there because of the weather warning, but we weren’t complaining. 🥰 Fabulous stay and can’t wait to go back.

We had an amazing time at the hotel, all the staffs were exceptional. A very big thank you to Charles for doing an excellent job regarding the proposal planned. Charles was very friendly and cheerful. He deserves the best staff year in and out. I’d comeback and definitely recommend 100%.

What a beautiful place. Had an overnight stay with my husband. The hotel is beautiful. The staff are fantastic. We had a premium room, which was excellent. Plenty of room, juice, and snacks provided. The bathroom was stunning with a shower and bath with lovely toiletries. The spa is fantastic we both just loved it. We spent 2 hours relaxing in the spa. Will definitely return again.

I've stayed at the Blythswood a few times over the past couple of years, but I've got to call out last night's stay. I don't know whether there is new management or staff have all gone on a customer services course, but every single interaction with the hotel team was first class. From taking my suitcase and checking me in from the label whilst I was on an important work call, to changing my room, to the enthusiastic and speedy chap at breakfast, everyone was superb. The rooms are excellent, the location is great and the food in the restaurant was first class. This surely has to be the best hotel in Glasgow city centre?
