Breathtaking and perfect!! Everything was so perfect! The grounds are gorgeous with horses, chickens, steer, oak trees, olive trees etc. Sitting on the patio with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a cheese plate was heaven!! My room number 3 was charming in every way! Claw foot tub, comfortable bed, sitting area with daybed and chair. Really lovely and I would highly recommend!

Attended the ranch for a business function and it was amazing. Entertainment was great. Food was great and venue was noteworthy. The smoked brisket was over the top. The baked goods, oils and dips were amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t stay at the ranch so we are unable to speak to the accommodation offerings but the grounds were amazing.

Beltane Ranch is amazing. Our second trip and far from last. The accommodation is 5 Star. The food is Michelin worthy. The ranch and wine are sustainable and amazing. The people have huge hearts and feel like family. The three elements that transport you to a perfect place are the Ranch, the Wine, and the Food. Photos below. Go. Stay. Relax.

I was really looking forward to a relaxed stay at Beltane. The Farm environment and quiet was appealing online, and I liked the reviews. In general, it was quaint, but the farm area and lodging was reminiscent of my Grandfather’s unkept farm and house. It was relaxing, but not a Bed and Breakfast 5-star. There was constant yard work and grass cutting, with noisy workers. The rooms were comfortable, but tired…needing a refresh. From the moment we arrived, the long driveway looked to be bombed from WWII with potholes galore, we felt like family visiting an unkept farm. That was Okay, but I expected better. With advertising of farm to table, I was looking forward to a GREAT farm breakfast with fresh eggs, bacon and toast….we got a Fava Bean Soup with escarole and poached eggs…not our first choice. Fortunately, there was a cute French Cafe nearby in Glen Ellen that had awesome quiche and coffee! I must say that the inn hostess and the people at Beltane were VERY friendly and accommodating, but we won’t be returning. Thank you for trying.

Beltane was a very unique experience! we enjoyed not only the peaceful serenity of the location but also read up on the interesting history of the ranch with its impact to american wine development with the backdrop off some history of an african american heritage and entrepreneurship. We took a little time to hand feed the horse and donkeys with carrots provided. The views from the 2nd floor are picturesque overlooking the vineyard and mountain backdrop. Lastly, we enjoyed a charcuterie and breakfast created with the farm grown vegetables, eggs, and olive oil that made the experience fresh and enjoyable. we're plan to be back next year.
