I attended the Langham Gold Coast for a corporate function on the Saturday night and accommodation was taken care of by the client who booked out a large part of the hotel. This event was held in The Langham ballroom (amazing lighting and food was great). However the room 16.11 looked amazing but it had one major problem. MOULD on the ceiling and the smell was not good which I only noticed when I returned after the function at 11:30pm. I mentioned this to staff the next morning but I thought it wasn’t taken seriously. Not great for someone with respiratory issues already.

Nice room, nice food, don't rate the outdoor pool but the indoor one was very nice. The best part about the experience was the staff, a special thanks to Rochelle. Can't give it a 5, would prefer a 4.5 but apparently it doesn't do half stars. Namely for some maintenance issues with the room on arrival, the lack of an open balcony, plus $200 aud per night hold is a bit steep for us personally but we did semi expect it in advanced so we were fine.

Upon check in our room was not ready, cleaners were in our room when we got out key. It took them over 40minutes to resolve this and provide a room change
