Positives: The property itself is beautiful, and I appreciated the complimentary parking. The welcome champagne was also excellent and added a nice touch to the arrival experience. Concerns and Areas for Improvement: It felt as though the property was run by a young and inexperienced team, as the overall customer service lacked attentiveness and responsibility. Check-In Experience: During check-in, no one offered assistance with bell service or asked if I needed help bringing my luggage to the room. This lack of initiative set a poor first impression. Housekeeping Issue: When I arrived in my room, I noticed the robe provided had blood stains on it. I called the front desk to request a replacement, but no one responded for over an hour. When I followed up, they assured me someone would bring a new robe, but I had to wait until just before I left for dinner—nearly two hours later—to receive it. Safe Issue: Before heading to dinner, I discovered that the in-room safe was not functioning. I immediately reported this to the front desk and asked for it to be addressed promptly, as I planned to leave within the hour. Despite following up and requesting they fix it while I was at dinner, no resolution occurred during that time. When I returned from dinner at 10:30 p.m., I called again to check on the status. A security guard arrived 30 minutes later, attempted to fix the issue by replacing the batteries, and determined that the safe likely needed to be replaced. He assured me that an engineer would address it at 9 a.m. the following morning while I was at breakfast. However, when I returned to my room at 10:30 a.m., the safe had not been fixed or replaced. At around 12 p.m.—just before I was checking out—someone called to ask if they could bring a new safe. By that point, it was no longer needed, as I was leaving. Breakfast Service: While the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, the service was subpar. My coffee cup was not refilled, and the server never returned to check on my table or offer any assistance. I ended up getting juice instead, as no one came to address my empty cup, even when plates were being cleared. Checkout Experience: During checkout, I mentioned the issues I had experienced. While the associate expressed concern, no significant effort was made to resolve or rectify the problems.

Nice location but not worth the money. Too many guests and not enough staff or service. Overcrowded and uber priced for what you get.

We stayed at the Langham in an apartment and every aspect of our trip was amazing. This is truly a world class luxury hotel that you should not miss. The service, the food, the amenity and the beauty is setting a new benchmark for luxury beachfront stays in Australia.

Really lovely hotel - situated right on the beach. Staff are very obliging, we felt our air conditioning wasn’t cooling and a serviceman was quick to arrive and check. Excellent bed. Really nice bar area that had entertainment. Parking underneath and it is free. The pool area was very popular. I would stay here again but to really critique, our room had a strange set out with limited storage for your luggage but a huge bathroom. Also there were a number of food and beverage staff whose first language wasn’t English not really a problem but felt for the one staff member who was run off her feet helping all the staff.
