Weekend Getaway

The staff are really friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the front desk gave us suggestions on hiking trials and the one we did was perfect. The massage was lovely and the spa area was perfect. The dinner in the hotel restaurant was really yummy. We would like to go back in the Summer.

Wonderful Spa Hotel in a Perfect Location

A perfect way to end our vacation.... exactly what I was looking for. Set in the beautiful alps, with only the sounds of cow bells around you (and an occasional "moooo"), this place was perfect. Our room overlooked the alps (and cows), which made our stay that much more special. We stayed for three nights; the room itself was very comfortable. We used the sauna and hot tub every afternoon and were completely relaxed when dinnertime came. The hot tub is in a perfect location allowing you to relax and let your mind wander as you stare up at the amazingly beautiful alps. We had dinner every night in their restaurant, which was very delicious and enjoyable. Breakfast was a very nice buffet, with the option of ordering hot made to order food as well. The reception and dining teams were very welcoming and kind. The hotel is less than 10-minutes by car to the main part of Grindelwald.

Absolutely amazing experience. The staff is amazing, the rooms are spacious and clean, the views are spectacular, and to top it off - the restaurant and breakfast options are delicious. Also, the hot tub/spa is a must with the wonderful views. 100% recommend.

Great food, comfy beds, out of town location!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 months ago

The Aspen Alpin was a great choice for our family. The beds were comfortable, we had a great view of the Alps from our balcony, and the sauna/spa was expansive and relaxing. The breakfast had so many options of which to choose - not just a continental buffet breakfast. Dinner was great - another diner told us that she's come back for years just to have the hamburger! I can say that the burger was AMAZING! When I had an injury, the staff went out of their way to provide me with multiple bags of ice and asked how I was doing. The only negatives are that the hotel is a good 10 minute drive from town and there are very limited taxis. Therefore you really have to rely on the public free bus which only goes to the Aspen once/hour. Also, there is no elevator in the hotel and it has a lot of stairs. I would definitely go back as the service was great and the food was amazing!

Nice Hotel, nice stay

We were here in March 2024 with a smaller group for skiing. Excellent Hotel, good service, good location. Ski in (if enough snow) and good parking for cars. Bar is nice and invites to sit until late. We enjoyed our time here and can recommend this Hotel.
