Reviews for Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou

Avoid top floor rooms!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Rooms noise level above any expectation! Be carefull before accepting the rooms in the higher floors, as the hotel runa a nightclub, and rooms underneath that has a noise level like you are at the nightclub itself. Also those TOWER rooms, charged higher rate, but neverthelees it is impossible to sleep in them due to unbearable noise.

Luxury in the clouds

Had a great stay at the Four Seasons. They upgraded us to a suite on the 91st floor. It had 3 rooms and all kinds of thoughtful details. The front desk spoke good English, which I appreciated. The building and lobby definitely have that wow factor. Canton tower is a short walk away. We ate at the Cantonese restaurant Yu Yue Heen and were very impressed with the food preparation and presentation. Then we had teppanyaki at the Japanese restaurant Kuomi. Kuomi was good but not as good as the Canontese restaurant. Daily breakfast at the Executive Club was a treat and had great views. The Tian bar was nice but had a lot of cigarette smoke, the non-smoking section is in a side room off of the side of the bar. Overall, my stay was excellent and would highly recommend if you like luxury or skyscrapers.

Elevated Luxury and Comfort at Four Seasons China

This was my first time in Guangzhou and I haven't stayed in many Four Seasons hotels. The city was incredible enough... I felt like I was in a beautiful Avatar jungle in the city. Their greening policies have yielded excellent results. Then, I entered Four Seasons 70th floor lobby atrium. What a beautiful design. We had some of the best views in the city in spacious rooms with luxurious amenities. Overall, our stay was easily a 10 but as a separate shoutout, Breakfast really stood out to me. We had a wide selection of Western, local, and international food options with each being the best in-class quality. Staff throughout the hotel were well trained, professional, and very helpful. I would happily stay again.

I called up a couple of five start hotels before making a reservation. Response from Four Seasons was impressed. It meets my expectation and makes my journey seamless, enjoyable and excited. I have unforgettable memories. Thank you, Four Seasons!

The OG 5 star hotel and the BEST in town

Earlier this month, I had a family trip to Guangzhou with my family. It was a short but sweet weekend getaway and we totally had a great time. It has been a long while since my last trip to Guangzhou (was last here in 2018 for work). The city didn't seem to have changed much. I was in the Four Seasons Guangzhou for a work dinner, then this time I had a stay here for leisure. I remembered how amazed I was by the modern, sophisticated design of the hotel back in 2018 and this time, it still felt the same and gave that timeless, classy vibes. We were obsessed with our room which got such panoramic view of Guangzhou. The room was spacious with a contemporary design I was quite amazed to be honest, they were the top hotel in the city back in 2018 and they are still in such good shape today!) Our bathroom was incredible and got everything you could ask for - the city skyline, a huge bathtub and the marble etcetc. Just incredible! We also had a dinner at their acclaimed, Michelin one starred Chinese restaurant- Yu Yue Heen. The tasting menu we had was very simple yet full of thoughts and very well executed.
