The room was tidy and oversized; slightly dated. The campus is large and a little confusing as the infinity pool was across the street; parking is across the street; dinner is a quick shuttle from the hotel and was mediocre ; breakfast on site and was delicious; be prepared for no tv , heat, or cooling in room; our room was too warm at night as it it didn't feel secure to leave blinds open to allow airflow at night; lots of street noise in garden suite; only coffee was decaf in room much to our surprise first thing in the morning; walked to restaurant and paid $15 for two coffees; at that point it didn't make sense to ask for regular coffee for the room and go back to make those gross one serving coffees. They were kind enough to go ahead and refill those coffees at breakfast altho that is not what they typically allow. there was no early check in -overall decent experience!

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. We had an oceanfront bungalow that had a gorgeous view of the ocean. Inside the bu glow we found to be dated and a bit dirty. Breakfast was delicious, but stick to the food trucks for dinner. I would stay there again IF the cleaning procedures were improved and the inside was updated to match the beauty of the outside.

Absolutely stunning grounds, historic vibe, and great place to relax. We stayed in an oceanside villa that was recently renovated and it was really special. Ocean cliff view is beyond words, so is the infinity pool. Breakfast was disappointing in terms of quality of food, but dinner at Hana Ranch was primo. I'm excited to see them renovate the rest of the property, it has the potential to become a 5-star one of a kind experience.

Lovely location. The room needed a lot of work to bring it to an $800 per night value. We had leaking sink and gutters to the patio. The bathroom had 1 sink and was very old. The electrical outlet by the bed did not work. The tile on the counter had been roughly repaired.

Hana-Maui Resort is a timeless piece of history situated on a large, beautiful piece of land in Hana. It feels like you're stepping back in time and time slows down. The staff were helpful, attentive and kind. The rooms and furniture is somewhat dated, but that is changing soon and didn't bother our crew. The ocean views and size of the rooms were BIG. The food was great at every venue. Looking forward to getting back some time in the future.
