this was an absolutely incredible hotel with outstanding service. i’ve been staying at 5 star hotels across asia but the service, decor, theming, staff, rooms and everything else is just next level. they just think of everything, there’s free tea, coffee and food in the foyer, a free high tea in the afternoon and a happy hour with unlimited free drinks from 5-6:30. in the room they are always giving you little gifts and cleaning to the highest standard. we even had a package being delivered from another hotel of stuff that we left there and because we are leaving today they went to the post office and picked it up for us because it wouldn’t have gotten to us in time. overall just an amazing experience and would come again.

This is my favourite hotel in the world. Never before have I experienced such opulence and luxury, and received such warm and friendly hospitality. My every request/need was taken care of and often pro-actively anticipated by the staff. The service was impeccable and the management deserves every compliment for what this hotel has become and achieved. The hotel is located in the French Quarter of Hanoi, within walking distance to the lake. There is no better location in Hanoi. The breakfast was amazing, served in the elaborately decorated Backstage restaurant. I loved the mini portions of pho and banh mi, and the wonderful coffee. It's been a few months since I've stayed at Capella Hanoi and I still miss it dearly. I have recommended this hotel to family, friends and clients. You cannot go wrong by staying here.

Our family has traveled the world and stopped here, before we went to Singapore and Thailand, but what impressed us the most was the warm welcome in Hanoi, the breakfast was delicious, the room was beautifully decorated and we had a good sleep, the kids made new friends Vuong and HeLen at Spa-Fitness, they played with the kids for a few days, taught them exercises and showed them how to use everything at B3, we are very grateful for considering us as your family, of course we will choose to become a close member of Capella Hanoi. We are big fans of the Capella Group and anything by the famed architect and designer, Bill Bensley. This is our third stay at a hotel designed by Bill Bensley and he pulled out all the stops to create an Art Deco masterpiece with beauty and whimsey everywhere you look. We were upgraded on each of our two stays, separated by a two night stay in Ha Long Bay, and it was great to enjoy the hotel twice. If you love the Art Deco style of the 20's and great service this is the place for you. We also enjoyed the Capella tradition of a "happy hour" with live jazz music and a singer to transport you back to the carefree and nostalgic period of days gone by. We also had a great dinner at Hudson's and the Italian chef did not disappoint with an off the menu and perfect spaghetti Bolognese. Highly recommend the Capella, Hanoi
