Staying at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi was a luxurious and memorable experience. The hotel's historic charm, elegant architecture, and impeccable service made it truly special. The blend of French colonial style and Vietnamese heritage created a unique ambiance. A perfect stay in Hanoi!

Location is convenient. Decor and ambience are classic luxury and good. Restaurants offer good local and western international menu and service. The standard rooms are rather small.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The first time was 18 years ago! It’s an iconic hotel. Great location, beautiful architecture/ decor, very comfortable beds. But it’s really the lovely staff and amazing service that make it so special.

We arrived in Hanoi on the overnight Vietnam airlines direct flight from London Heathrow and took a cab from Noi Bai airport to breakfast at the Metropole. The buffet breakfast gave us our first taste of a delicious noodle and beef soup, Pho, in addition to smoked tuna, seabass and salmon. There is a chef on hand to cook eggs any way you want them, in addition to delicious pastry, eggs and bacon. The table service was attentive and welcoming. This was a wonderful introduction to Hanoi. Though a touch on the pricy side, you get what you pay for. The experience of sitting by the pool, crisp table linen and delicious coffee was memorable for all of right reasons. Highly recommended.

The Hotel is very beautiful and offers a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We had the pleasure of eating at Spice Garden and the other restaurant as well. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. Our dining experience was enhanced by the warmth and hospitality which Bao, our server extended to us.
