Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi was first opened at the turn of the 20th century by two private French investors. Standing the test of time, the hotel has been recognized as Hanoi’s legendary landmark for its contribution to the history and heritage of city. Ever since 1901, the Hotel Metropole Hanoi has a long tradition as a luxury venue for prestigious events and a popular rendezvous for business and leisure travelers. Hotel where Movistars and presidents stay when in Hanoi. Very Posh hotel
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Location is absolutely perfect to go walk around the city. It is a bit more pricey stay in Vietnam, but it is worth every penny. I think that I never seen such of huge selection for breakfast buffet in any other restaurant.

Flawless stay
Flawless service from start to finish. Staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. Lots of attention to detail. The rooms were impeccably clean and the club was a nice respite from the bustling neighborhood. Absolutely recommend and absolutely will be back! Exceptional customer service and kindness from warm and caring hotel staff
The Metropole is outstanding and never fails to impress. We come here regularly and love it. We are so warmly looked after by Bao and her colleagues every time we come. Bao is always so friendly and helpful, making us feel at home and part of the hotel family. Thank you to her and all the staff at the Metropole who go above and beyond to make every visit special.

Truly exceptional
This is the third of the six Sofitel Legends around the world that we’ve stayed at now, & like the others, it was a truly wonderful experience. As a history lover, I always enjoy hearing the stories about the hotel, looking at the old photos, seeing who has stayed there over the many years, & going on the tour with the in-house historian. The room was elegant & luxurious with cloud-like beds that we know & love at Sofitel. The breakfast was delicious & the choice of restaurant meant we could experience each of the venues. The staff were absolutely on-point, very professional & friendly. I also love that it’s a ‘no tip’ hotel so there’s no stress for an Antipodean like myself, but I hope also indicates that if the staff don’t receive tips & are still exceptional, then it’s a great place to work too. Thank you to the Metropole Hanoi team & best wishes for the new year.

Exceptional without exception. Bao is incredible and a big thank you to her and the whole team for being amazing. Everyone is so professional, warm and friendly. There is not much more to say other than everything from the food to the rooms are world class.
