Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi

Really nice hotel however breakfast service was a problem. Great location, nice sized comfortable room that overlooked the garden. Really helpful and friendly staff and very easy to walk to the local attractions. Had a great bar with a happy hour between 4 - 7 pm. The only criticism I have is on the day we needed to leave early, we went to breakfast at 7:15 to be told that it was fully booked and we should come back on 1 hour. Problem being we were leaving at 8:30 so not able to have breakfast.

Staying at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi was truly like stepping into a movie. The room was incredibly spacious, and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud without a doubt, the most comfortable bed I’ve experienced across multiple hotels. Every day, delicious sweets and fresh fruits were waiting in my room, which was such a delightful touch. The staff was exceptional, always helpful and friendly. Sometimes it felt like they could read my mind everything was so well thought out and seamless. I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel, and every meal was a feast. The food was simply the best I’ve tasted, with an impressive variety and remarkable freshness. Honestly, the only challenge was trying to contain myself! The hotel’s ambiance is unforgettable. At times, I felt like I might run into a president or even Charlie Chaplin, who, along with countless other celebrities, once stayed here. The heated pool and gym were perfect for starting my mornings. After a workout, the steam room—which is better than at Equinox back home was pure relaxation. Massage at the spa was the best I had in a long time! The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Hanoi and close to everything. I can’t wait to come back! Staying here was, without question, the highlight of my trip to Hanoi.

Special Occasion and Impressive Service We visited this hotel for Christmas to celebrate a special occasion. From arrival to departure, we were deeply impressed by the staff’s attentive care and professional service.
The Club Lounge greeted us with a bouquet of flowers and congratulatory wishes, making our special day even more meaningful.
Unfortunately, my companion and I were not feeling well and had to rest in our room. Despite this not being the hotel’s fault, the staff continuously checked on our condition until check-out. We were impressed that all employees shared information about our situation and showed genuine concern. 1. Kindness at Bamboo Bar: Even after check-out, the staff at the Bamboo Bar were exceptionally kind and attentive. 2. Long’s Dedicated Assistance: When leaving for the airport, due to a taxi driver’s mistake, our cab arrived about 100m away from the hotel. Long, a staff member, carried our heavy luggage in both hands to that location and loaded it into the trunk. He also inquired about our health condition. I’ve visited many hotels worldwide, but Long’s dedicated service remains memorable even a month later. I hope the hotel management properly recognizes these outstanding employees. 불행히도 동행인과 제가 컨디션이 좋지 않아 방에서 쉬어야 했습니다. 호텔 측의 잘못이 아님에도 불구하고, 체크아웃 때까지 지속적으로 상태를 확인해 주셨고 모든 직원이 이 상황을 공유하며 신경 써 주신 점이 인상적이었습니다. 1. 뱀부 바의 친절함: 체크아웃 후에도 뱀부 바 직원들의 서비스가 매우 친절했습니다. 2. 롱(Long) 직원의 헌신적인 도움: 공항으로 떠날 때, 택시 기사의 실수로 호텔에서 100m 떨어진 곳에 택시가 도착했습니다. 롱 직원은 무거운 짐을 양손 가득 들고 그곳까지 이동해 트렁크에 실어주셨습니다. 또한 저희의 건강 상태까지 확인해 주셨습니다. 전 세계 여러 호텔을 방문해 보았지만, 특히 롱 직원의 헌신적인 서비스는 한 달이 지난 지금까지도 잊히지 않습니다. 호텔 측에서 이런 훌륭한 직원들을 적절히 칭찬해 주셨으면 좋겠습니다. 이 호텔의 서비스는 단순히 업무적인 차원을 넘어 진정한 관심과 배려를 보여주었으며, 이는 제 여행 경험을 한층 더 특별하게 만들어 주었습니다.

We had an amazing stay at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel in Hanoi. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was quick and welcoming, and our room was super comfortable. Since we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, the hotel surprised us with a sweet gesture, some delicious macarons waiting for us in the room, which was such a nice touch. The Christmas decorations were beautiful, with huge Christmas trees and so many little festive details all around the hotel, it really felt magical. Breakfast was a highlight for me, especially the pho soup, which was just delicious. The staff, both at breakfast and throughout the hotel, were so kind and attentive. I also have to mention that I loved the toiletries in the room, they were so luxurious! The hotel’s location is perfect, makes it easy to explore Hanoi. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel is outstanding and beautiful and the staff is superb but we want to single out Linh and Trang specifically for their kindness and hospitality He tour of the bunker is not to be missed and also the walk through history in the old way wing John and Jeannine
