The pace of life at Centara Hotel Hat Yai practically operates in cadence with a credit card machine – located above the city’s leading Central Department Store, it’s also just around the corner from Gimyong and Santisuk markets, where local goods and fresh produce tumble out of street stalls. Indeed, Hat Yai’s identity is intertwined with commerce. Its proximity to the Malaysian border established it as an important trading post for generations, and there are goods here that can’t be found elsewhere in Thailand. Dining options at Centara also represent a collusion of cultures, and rooms are smartly designed to be respites from Thailand’s fourth largest city.

Great location near the market, convenient shopping right downstairs. The staff is helpful - a recommended stay!

From the staff to the rooms, everything was amazing. We didn't get to try any of the amenities because we had a full agenda everyday but coming back to a clean room and comfy bed after a long day of eating and sightseeing was exactly what we needed. Will definitely stay here again if ever I'm in Hatyai.

The best thing about this hotel is the location, right at the prime spot where you have all the food and convenience store nearby. The hotel is a bit old but room and amenities wise are still a great and clean Centara standard. Overall, a recommended hotel to stay if you visiting Hat Yai.

Great stay at this hotel! The environment was pleasant, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. My room was clean and comfortable, and the morning buffet had a good selection of delicious food. The best part was that my room was ready when I arrived in the morning, making it super convenient to freshen up before heading out. Overall, a wonderful experience. I’d definitely stay here again!

The best part of the hotel is the central location. It’s in the middle of town and it’s good to use as a base. It’s a busy and popular hotel with some good facilities for such a central location. However it has certainly seen better days. The rooms are clean and mostly comfortable but they are in dire need of a refresh. The paintwork is yellowing and the furniture is old. Check in staff were unwelcoming but throughout the hotel everyone is friendly, especially the bellboy who is super warm and helpful. This is one of the best rated hotels in Hat Yai and it is a good choice if you want to be central and enjoy the facilities it offers. Just be aware that for the price the rooms are very average.
