Bad Experience!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We checked in to the hotel on 3-31-25 for a four day stay and when we arrived the hotel was a complete ghost town with three cars were in the lot including ours. The parking lot was full of debris like it had not been cleaned in a couple of months. We went to the registration desk and the lady working was pleasant when registering as well as the doorman. Every other employee we interacted with had zero customer service skills. After we checked in we walked around the grounds and the shops. All the shops were closed and some were out of business. One cafe was open along with an ice cream parlor. All water sports were closed also. We decided to go sit in the jacuzzi and discovered it was torn apart and out of order. We went back to our room and upon getting in the shower discovered the shampoo and bath gel were completely empty and mold was in the shower. The room was very dirty around the baseboards and a table had a broken leg. A staff member brought up replacements the first evening. The next morning my wife discovered the lotion was also completely empty. I have never been this disappointed with a Hilton hotel until now. After our third day we decided to check out a day early knowing we would still be charged for the stay. The desk clerk never inquired why we were leaving early. After returning home the hotel charged us tax and a resort fee for the day we didn't stay. A resort fee should’ve never been charged at all because most amenities weren’t even available. You will notice no one will even bother to respond to most of the reviews on here because apparently they don't care. Helpful 0 Thanks 0 Love this 0 Visit Website Oh no 0

Fun Weekend Staycation!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We had a fun Weekend staycation at Hilton Lake Las Vegas! My family and I had stayed here many times and we always enjoyed it. Upon checked in we were told that we were chosen as guest of the day and got upgraded to a king suite which is a pleasant surprise. Great guest experience once we got to our room they checked if everything is good and if we need anything just call. Next day they checked again is we need anything. We always dine at the onsite Restaurant - Medici Cafe and we always enjoyed the food my husband usually orders steak and it’s delicious, I also enjoyed the sea bass. Staff at the restaurant are amazing whether it’s dinner or breakfast everyone is accommodating and provide great customer service. on weekends they also have buffet breakfast so we always avail it, as Hilton Honors Diamond member we get room credit towards food and beverage so why not use it! If you are looking for a place to relax and away from the strip, this is a great option. I would definitely come here again specially during the summer when more activities is happening in the area.

Wonderful Resort

This place is beautiful! It’s about a 25-30 minute drive from the Strip. It’s about 30 minutes to the Hoover Dam and 40 minutes or so to Red Rock Canyon. The staff was awesome, breakfast was delicious at the Medici Cafe, the entire property and village is just so cool, convenient, and peaceful. You don’t feel like you’re in Vegas at all. I’m sure this place is more lively during the busy season, but I’d enjoy staying here during any season. I was intrigued watching the bats fly around the Ponte Vecchio bridge at night. The room was so comfortable, clean, and spacious. Parking in the structure was a breeze and totally accessible to the hotel from the 3rd floor. Didn’t feel the need for Valet. Enjoyed our balcony view. I will stay here any chance I get when visiting Las Vegas.

Beautiful and quiet place to enjoy you time off the strip!

Such a beautiful resort with a friendly and helpful staff. The eateries gave plenty of choices and the food was delicious. It was off season for our trip so not everything was opened. The only negative we have is that the lobby area where you come in from the parking lot has a very foul odor, kind of like a must or mold odor. The areas are beautiful, the smell just takes you back and hits you like a brick when you enter.

Full enjoyment!

Make up your own mind; but go and give it a chance first. The property is expansive, there may be some extra steps compared to another hotel; but it is wonderful for more than just appearance. The Staff was exceptional! Check in was warm, professional, inviting and they really made an effort to show appreciation for us choosing their property for our stay. The large dining area is super comfortable, makes you feel like you have private dining. The comfortable chairs invite you stay a while and our service, with dinner/Cecelia and breakfast/Sara, were both exceptional! The short rib is tender and well flavored, the sea bass was perfectly cooked and the accompanying vegetables were a great compliment! Our breakfast steak and eggs were prepared as requested and the Mediterranean Salmon was fresh, wonderfully prepared, and I enjoyed every bite! Even the wheat toast was exceptionally tasty! We were seen, acknowledged, well served and shown excellent hospitality. The property may show some wear, and could use a few touch ups here and there, but fresh linens, clean bathroom, stellar staff and delicious dining makes it easy to take the extra steps and overlook some scuff marks. We look forward to making our visit again next year!
