The Gem of Walker Bay

3 star max hotel
5 star hotel with 2 star shower and concierge… We asked to book a restaurant near by they never heard about it and they also did not come back about it … Please get a good trained concierge please. The shower in the room is not even 2 star but just 1 star…only very hot water is coming out and almost nothing is coming out at all!! breakfast is also below 5 star… This could be a great hotel but it isnt especialy for the money you pay…

What a beautiful hotel in such a wonderful spot on the stunning coastal resort of Hermanus. Ideal location for shark cage dive experience

Great view and location
The location of this hotel is probably the best in the region. It overlooks a nice lawn with steps going straight down into the ocean. I opted for the corner suite and I could look out into the ocean from the balcony. It was absolutely breathtaking and I could literally see whales from there. However, the decor of the hotel was abit old fashioned and it would be better if they upgraded it. The gym was alright, nothing fancy. The breakfast was pretty nice. It is also very conveniently located in the tourist district with many restaurants and cafes 5 mins walk away and there is an also woollies nearby. But the main attraction of this hotel is definitely the view.
