The Reverie Saigon

From the moment the airport transfer pulled up through the gates of this hotel you know you’re in for a treat. This hotel exudes Opulence with a Capital “O” but there is not an ounce of arrogance or snobbery from the staff - they are all charming & go out of their way to provide a top draw service! We stayed in a Panoramic Suite which offered amazing views up & down the Nguyen Hue walking street. The facilities within the room (including a free mini-bar) are top notch - basically everything you can think of! The location is prime in District 1 & the major central landmark attractions can all be reached on foot with a moderate level of fitness. The spa facilities are great to change in for early arrival/late departures & the breakfast choice (buffet & a la carte) is as good as I’ve seen anywhere. Finally, outdoor pool on the 6th floor is cool as you like 😄

Wow! I’ve never stayed in a hotel so beautiful! It was absolutely stunning! Every corner is amazing… and don’t forget the staff! Beyond accommodating and always very helpful with anything needed! If you can afford to upgrade your room to a suite I definitely recommend it! The food for breakfast was delicious and so good!

This is an exceptional hotel at the heart of HCMC. The entire hotel is opulent including the room which was large and grand with great views over the city. A personal highlight for me was the heated toilet seat in my room. Bed and pillows 10/10, slept very well. The breakfast was an experience in itself with a fantastic spread including both Vietnamese and international cuisine as well as an a la carte menu and fresh coconuts (coconut water). Located in district one you can easily walk to all of the central attractions. All the staff were so kind and helpful, I would come back to HCMC just for the hotel. I would also mention if you are travelling from the West it is great value for money!

So pleased we booked this hotel. It is so much fun to just wonder around with all the opulence. The lifts were amazing! We only stayed one night, but the service was fantastic. Our corner room had fantastic views of the river and city (highly recommend a high floor, we were on 30). Food, particularly breakfast was excellent. This was the best 5* hotel we stayed in in Vietnam and also topped the Fullerton Bay hotel in Singapore.

An utterly bling-tastic experience, but if you’re into wall to wall marble with gold trimmings this will be your place. Prepare to be dazzled! We stayed in a junior suite, which was large and sumptuous and kept up with the opulent OTT feel. The staff made us feel welcome, really taking note of our special occasion. Appreciated the chocolates at turn down - very tasty. We opted for the executive lounge access, and this is where a point gets lost. The over zealous dress code policy (on footwear) was farcical, leading to one lady being forced to wear a pair of her husbands trainers, which was considered more acceptable than a pair of open toed, but very elegant flat sandals. We brought this up with the duty manager and he dealt with it well. Also note our room looked over the plaza at Nguyan Hue, which was very noisy at the weekend with music playing till 3:30am. Possibly worth requesting a room on the other side of the building.
