Sofitel Saigon Plaza

I have been to this hotel numerous times now and I find it a joy to stay here. The Staff are brilliant and very welcoming especially the Concierge, Tim,Andy and Rick and the rest of the staff. I check in on the 18th floor in the club lounge were the beautiful staff of Tram, Anna, new Anna,Astrid,Zoe,Lucy and Evelyn you can not meet more magnificent people in any hotel I have been to worldwide. The GM Mr Alistair Minty must be very proud of his staff. Very sadly Evelyn who is having to leave at the end of May and I believe will then just pop back when ever needed which is a shame as she is an asset to the hotel and club it would be a joy if an appointment could be found for her. I must not forget Marcus and Brian who make up a great team for the hotel. I must also mention the Boudoir bar on the ground floor. This bar is a joy to meet up with friends or past some hours away. The staff are hard to beat and a joy to talk too, SuperKim(in side joke) Rose,Swan,My,Ami and Aunty, sorry these are there English names. Do not forget St25 restaurant with Amber and Mimi and the rest of the staff,great food Thank you. Also the front desk Mgr Abbie a pleasure to meet, and my housekeeping staff, Thanh Ngoc,Dao,Sunil,Mychau and Hai.. Thank you all.

There is nothing we could have faulted in our 2 night stay at the Sofitel Saigon Plaza. Ideally located downtown the hotel looked amazing with the beautiful Christmas lights and decorations. The room was ultra modern, spacious with sprawling views over Ho Chi Minh City. The large roof top pool area was well staffed with plenty of seating & day beds. The vairety at breakfast was spectacular and the staff managed the seating well as it was very busy. You must try the "hidden bar" on the 3rd level (I think) next to the barber shop. The cocktails were out of this world!! Overall a fantastic stay and was by far the best hotel during our 14 Day Luxury Escapes Vietnam/Cambodia tour.

Outstanding service, accommodation and facilities. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful. You pay for what you get, highly recommend the hotel stay in Saigon. We ate at the breakfast buffet each morning, more than enough variety. We also had a dinner at Le 17. Fantastic service and food was delicious.

Service and rooms were excellent. I didn’t have a chance to go to the pool. We were here for a few days in Ho Chi Minh having completed an Amawaterways River cruise on the Mekong. The room was clean and spacious but maybe a bit dated. I would recommend the hotel nevertheless. The breakfast venue and selection of different foods were second to none. The fruit was fresh and Vietnamese coffee offerings were excellent. The dining room was beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend it. Great Hotel in the heart of the French Quarter, stunning views from the pool bar and a great selection at breakfast. Great sleep and very powerful shower. Top notch staff. If you get a chance try the concept bar on the 3rs floor for some fantastic cocktails, top mention to Kyree 🍸
