Situated atop a seemingly infinite stretch of beach in breathtaking Da Nang, The Nam Hai Hoi An is Vietnam's premier luxury retreat. Striking accommodations in this all-villa resort line the beachfront, where the rhythmic lapping of the South China Sea meets the soft talcum shore. Drawing inspiration from the feng shui philosophies of wind and water, The Nam Hai Hoi An embraces the region's 2,500 years of history, creating a space that is at once classic and contemporary. Nestled under the shade of tall palms, villas range from intimate with one bedroom to palatial with room for up to 15. Each space is a personal paradise, designed with a calming palette of neutral cream, brown, and cool ebony hues. Plush furnishings are simple yet sophisticated, with rooms instead emphasizing the immense natural beauty of the area through abundant floor-to-ceiling windows and an expansive, furnished veranda facing the water. Get lost in the bespoke quality of luxury at The Nam Hai Hoi An.

We stayed here for four nights in November 2024. This is a beautiful hotel located on the beach about 15 minutes from Hoi An city center. We stayed in an ocean-view villa with a private patio that opened straight onto the beach and looked out over the ocean. There was also a sitting area inside with the same view for when it was too hot or buggy to be outside. The service, amenities, and staff were excellent, as you would expect from a Four Seasons hotel, as was the breakfast. There is an excellent white-sand beach and three gorgeous and huge infinity pools that we thoroughly enjoyed for both swimming and lounging. One of them is designated the “quiet” pool, which we particularly appreciated, since we were traveling without children. We found Hoi An to be crowded and over-populated with tourists and were happy that we chose to stay outside of town. We easily made excursions into the city for food and shopping. There is a shuttle bus that runs a few times each day to and from the hotel, but we just took a taxi for about $5. We highly recommend this hotel as a luxurious basecamp for your adventures in this area.

Our stay here could not have been more perfect. Absolutely everything was immaculate. The hotel itself is strikingly beautiful, well planned out, and always perfectly clean. We had the incredible help of Thuong while we were staying here and he anticipated every need. He helped make it so that our stay here was fun, relaxing, and completely stress-free. Thank you, Thuong!!!

I stayed at your resort for 4 nights with my friend. It was a great experience I’ve had with your services, especially with the dining server. The breakfast was good and the dinner was amazing. I also stayed in Four Seasons Hong Kong and Singapore, not compare but your server is kind, they’re careful and give me a lot of recommendations on starter-main course and dessert. I remember that night I had dinner at a restaurant somewhere in Hoi An and it was horrible. Then I came back to eat at the Vietnamese restaurant, the food was perfect and the server (Mr. Anh or An, I have no idea) was so professional when he recommended wine pairing with food and so surprised that he knew a lot about different cultures. So I believe the employee was trained well. I’ll come back next year if nothing changes. Great resort to relax.

I stayed here to celebrate a special birthday and if you want to have great memories and want to be spoilt I would recommend this hotel. We stayed in three bedroom villa which has its own private pool and you can walk down to the beach within a minute. The beach is very long with beautiful white sand and was very peaceful. Any issues I had were quickly resolved and in a very good way; they were very flexible. The staff were excellent and you get your own butler. I am not sure if we were just lucky or all the butlers were this good but Khanh was beyond good. Nothing was too much trouble, always thought ahead as to what we may want, always smiling and became part of the family during our stay. We had arranged for a private barbeque one night at the villa which I would definitely recommend. There are bikes can use to get around the grounds or just a call a buggy (they arrived very quickly). We ate mostly at the hotel and the food was excellent, including the breakfast, which includes champagne! I am always wary of reviews which sound too good to be true so I had better say something which could be improved but it is minor and I would not in any way let it influence your decision to stay. They have table tennis but it is in a small room right next to the pool table so it really is not worth playing but the pool table is good!

We visited in November, which meant we had really mixed weather but that didn’t stop us enjoying this fabulous hotel. The property is vast with lovely public areas and incredible villas. We loved ours and really enjoyed riding between the various sites on the bicycles provided. The pool was really nice and loved the cabanas. We used the spa which was special. The food at breakfast was very good and the service throughout our stay was fabulous. One of the restaurants was closed for renovations which meant a revised combined menu in the remaining one which meant a weird mix of options. The good was good but not amazing and quite expensive for what it was. It’s the people who really make this a special place, they’re all so amazing.
