Paradisus Rio de Oro Resort and Spa

I absolutely fell in love with this resort. Everything about it was amazing! Entire resort was spotless clean. Staff amazing! Food was delicious, nothing at all was missing. I stayed on the Royal side, which was unbelievable!! I felt like a queen! The extra money to upgrade, was worth every penny! I’m already looking to book it again soon.

A true paradise in Cuba! Despite the mostly rainy weather during our stay, we absolutely loved our trip to Paradisio Rio de Oro. Upon arrival, we decided to upgrade to the Royal Service, and it was pure bliss! The beach offered total tranquility with impeccable service. Our room was stunning and spacious, with exceptional room service provided by a butler. A huge thank you to Alexis, who reserved the perfect room for us: located at the end, with no neighbors on the right, on the second floor, offering a breathtaking view of the sea and the surrounding nature. The evenings were equally unforgettable, with incredibly talented singers who made every night magical. This hotel combines everything we love: outstanding service, absolute tranquility, excellent food, a beautiful natural setting, and unlimited snorkeling! Thank you so much, Alexis, for your warm welcome and for choosing such a fantastic room for us. We usually never visit the same place twice, but here, we’ve truly found our paradise in Cuba! Second time to this incredible resort with this trip landing on my Birthday. Cannot say enough about all the incredible staff who were all so very accommodating all the time. Rolando you made my birthday day a very special one, thank you so much. Yalenny your infectious smile kept us smiling even in the rain. If you are considering this resort don't hesitate just book it, you will not be disappointed. Cant wait to see all our friends next year in this little slice of paradise.

Stayed 2 weeks in Royal Service and completely loved it. we were treated very well by staff who worked very hard to make sure we were happy and satisfied with every thing. Management also worked hard to make our vacation special. The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous and very well kept. The rooms in royal service are spacious and clean. The large bathroom with double sinks, out door shower and large tub are fabulous. The food is not bad and plentiful. We do not eat at buffets so I can't comment on that but the a la Carte's were good. We really enjoyed the entertainment at the off property return guest dinner. We have been vacationing in Cuba for many years and have returned to this property often we love the fact that it is a small resort spread out over a large natural property. There are some shortages at the hotel but that would not stop us from returning again soon.

I was so happy to return to PRDO after 5 long years away! I had 3 simple, easy goals - rest/relax, get some vitamin D (sunshine) and read as much as possible - all of which were met :) A big thank you to Lina (the Royal Service manager) for helping to make this such a simple and fuss-free trip for me. The days and nights blended together for a 'what day is it again?' sort of trip. I'll definitely be back!
