AVOID….55 minutes to check in, rooms from the 1980s, huge renovations, poor food choices, tiny bar. For the first time in years I actually had to pay for internet in a Hotel… $15 a day, $9 for a bottle of water in your room, 2 eggs coffee and juice $42….The room was a $150 room but they charge nearly $400. It’s not the price it’s that you get no value for what you spend, absolute rip off… no where decent nearby to go to either. Sorry guys you need to up your game in today’s world

What a scam ! Payed USD 450 per night for a conference at that hotel. Half of the hotel is undergoing renovations, and not “minor ones” as indicated during booking but massive, noisy and highly disturbing constructions. Many parts of the hotel are closed - in fact even the entrance is completely closed and guests have to pass through the conference center - where the main escalator is broken. To relax, try to enjoy a cocktail by the beach: it will cost you USD 19++ for a watered-down drink served in a plastic glass. This hotel is simply a disgrace. We eventually learned that the staff was asked to lie to us to ensure we would not cancel our stay.

I Was for a business event, the hotel is nice, have nice views and amenities, but I think valet was overprice. The hotel is under renovation so it’s hard to move smoothly. I was able to visit the presidential suite and was really comfortable, and has a cool common areas.

We had an amazing stay! The room was clean and new with amazing views (diplomat suite). The resort dining options were great for breakfast and lunch and location convenient to off site dining as well. The service was outstanding from the front desk to the beach service to housekeeping. I enjoyed the fitness center as well. The pool and beach were outstanding- lots of open chairs, even when the hotel was full. The stations with watermelon water and plentiful towels were a nice touch. Pool was heated and could use even in the rain being partially covered. We didn’t use the kids club but it is nice to have that option. We look forward to returning when the upper pool, lobby and dip and slide are open!

Wolff was amazing and he gave us great costumer service and he treated me and my family with great service . We stayed at the diplomat hotel and me and my family will definitely be coming back . The beach was also very clean and the food was amazing . I got a spicy margarita and ceviche
