Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood

I really love this hotel. It is my favorite winter retreat while I’m in south Florida during the winter months. I visit here with my sisters, friends and husband and they all love it too! The housekeeping is always great, the rooms are very clean and nice and the bed is usually very comfortable! The front desk is also great; they are efficient and courteous. The largest rooms can be found in the Oasis tower, which also have incredibly large and powerful showers! The closest tower to the pool, that is open during the week, is the Guitar tower! The rooms in the Hard Rock tower are a bit smaller, but also nice and close to the food court. In the Hard Rock tower I really like rooms 711 and 488. The pools are particularly fabulous here! There is cold ice water nearby, waitress service (the food on limited menu is very good!) and they have great, absorbent yellow towels! The restaurants at this property are also great and parking is easy and free for self-parking. Also, don’t miss the guitar light show that is on every night! It’s quite impressive and really gives you the true vibe of this location! There is also live music a few nights a week in the Hard Rock Cafe and it’s always great and I enjoy the music while I’m gambling! I can’t wait to return here again for gambling, live music, fun in the sun, a show and great food!

I have been here several times, and just never bother to write my opinion of H.R. Hollywood. After my last stay on March 19-21, I have decided to report my findings. So I do not seem to be a bitter consumer, because I paid an over inflated price, I do not pay. I am mostly fully comped. I am a professional gambler, so I am not a bitter loser. (wins and losses come with the territory) This is my honest review. The problem starts at the top as most do. When, if you pay these prices you should expect if not demand the absolute Best! I know I would. House Keeping: they do not pay enough attention to the details, with many times ignoring stains and spots on furniture(s), cathup splater on ottoman, RM#11517. I find that alot but not all of the staff lacking in hospitallity, usually it is the 1 or 2 bad apples that spoil, but here I find it to be much more. Pit Bosses and Dealers: when you put thousands of dollars at risk you dont want to have Nasty, Arrogant employees to deal with, and when you have management that openly show hostillity towards the guests it creates a systemic problem, from the top downard. I shorten my table play and slot play to a bare minimum on this trip, and played mostly poker. It has been my experince here at HHR to have a mix of good and not so good experiences, but if you are paying this kind of money you pay here, I would always expect the Very Best! Not just sometimes.

Brilliant hotel packed with so much to do, no need to even go out if you’re on a short trip. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Plus you can’t go wrong with live music by top class acts, great restaurants plus some superb music memorabilia also thrown in

I witnessed nepotism again at the Hard Rock Hollywood poker room's waiting list. When there is a big promotion and there is a big waiting list (with Bravo signup), the employees and dealer seat friends and families with disregard to the list and who is next on the list. I had to wait 2 and a half hours to be seated. While others shook hands with employees/brush/dealers and were seated immediately in front of me. One person who signed up at the same time as I told me that she knows the dealers and was seated immediately as well. No wait! Another person told me that he gives the employees a tip and is seated right away, and he never signs up or goes on the list. I tried to call the poker room and talk to the director but could not get through when I did get through, I could not leave a message and was told he is not available. In addition, I have also witnessed dealers and plays talk in Spanish during a live hand with the floor managers' disregard. There is also a lot vaping in a non-smoking room. Again, to the floor manager's disregard. I hope they take these issues very seriously and fix them.

The casino is very nice, visually stunning, though very smoky, with too small an area aet aside for non-smoking. The live music at the cafè is fun. The pool is amazing, though service was a bit slow. Look at Abiaka for a great meal. Nice clean room with an easy to use remote.
