Harbour Grand Hong Kong is ideally located at the heart of Hong Kong Island, nestled amongst the fashionable shopping areas and commercial offices of Causeway Bay. The 5-star hotel impresses from the moment you set foot in the lobby; a cavernous, white marbled space draped with chandeliers and staffed by courteous bellhops in their starched uniforms. Guest rooms and suites are luxuriously appointed with every modern amenity you need to enjoy a more than comfortable stay. There’s also a fitness center and a panoramic outdoor pool, with an impressive view of the skyline of Kowloon.

Worth staying there even just for the rooftop view! Maria was an absolute star on reception on checkout. Proactively gave me recommendation to get bus instead of my intended train back to the airport - saving half the $ and avoiding stairs with my luggage - bus ride was great, thanks Maria!

This was our fist stay at Harbor Grand Hong Kong, we are frequent travelers to Asia and we chose this hotel mainly due to the location (Hong Kong Island) and also, the hotels /service apartments we had stayed before were not available. We stayed there for approx. 2 weeks. We got a superior room which was large for hotel room in HK (about 300 sq ft). Check in process was efficient--a shout out to Issac who check us in for recommending the roof top at 41st floor--the view was beautiful at night! The hotel is a bit dated but well maintained. The room was Very Quiet given the location (we were on the 26th floor). bed was comfortable and there was a small fridge, ironing board, drawer and closet space is a bit limited but sufficient. Housekeeping was efficient. There is no self service laundry at the hotel--but there are local self service laundries within a 7 to 10 min walk from the hotel. The gym is well equipped with 5 tread mills, 3 ellipticals, and 3 stationary bike with weight machines and free weight and 2 benches. Always well staffed, you have to sign in daily to sue the gym and pool. The changing rooms have locker, towels and showers. The pool is great for lap swimming, the is cooler--at 26 to 27C, and is ideal for lap swimmers. Life guard /attendant always present. Overall a very good stay, kudos the management and staff.

Great location and rooms with amazing Harbour views. Great cuisine within the hotel and plenty good local food within walking distance. Public transportation is a stone throw away. Best of all is the friendly, warm & excellent service from all staff. Queenie at reception desk is a great asset to the hotel. She makes you feel at ease and very welcomed. Even the bell hops would go out of their way to hail a cab ride for me. Will certainly visit again without doubt.

We have stayed at hotels all over the world and this has been the first hotel we have been to where someone has proactively given us information and suggestions of what to do in the area on check in. Maria the guest relations officer was fantastic. We had some idea of what we wanted to see and do but Maria approached us with a pre-prepared/ printed itinerary of suggestions. The detail Was excellent right down to the best bus/ metro to take. She also told us about the bus that leaves from right near the hotel directly to the airport which we had no idea about and decided to use as it only cost £4.20ish and saved us having to lug our suitcases across the metro with changes. It was also a very good way to see the city. Thank you Maria you really are an asset to the hotel. The hotel itself was nice. It was a great location with really good transportation links. Places to eat and shops all within 5 min walking range. The room was a little rough around the edges in terms of it was starting to look a bit tired but otherwise was very nice. We had a premier room on the 22nd floor overlooking a bit of the Victoria Harbour. Unusual set up with the bathroom set in a glass box viewable to the rest of the room but it had an electric blind for privacy. The bed was a super king with really comfortable pillow selection. Great nights sleep every night. It’s a shame a hotel of this calibre couldn’t provide water in the room though. They stated they had to withdraw it due to the new Hong Kong law about the use of single use plastics however rather than withdraw it other hotels simply provide water in glass bottles and provide other eco friendly alternatives. Housekeeping services were very efficient and extensive but they can come early so ensure you use the do not disturb light in you want a lay in. Although cold the pool at the hotel was a good size and othered some nice views. In the changing rooms there was also a steam room and sauna to use. Also worth noting was the Sky deck at the hotel accessible to guests which again afforded some amazing views across the whole of Hong Kong. Our flight wasn’t until late in the evening but on day of check out we were once again looked after by Maria and the team who not only looked after our luggage for the day; they also allowed us to use the pool/ showers to freshen up after a last day of sightseeing. In summary it was a great city hotel with friendly welcoming staff, excellent facilities in a good location.

We booked into the club lounge access room. King size room wasn't really big but it's OK for 2 people. It's our anniversary, the hotel was very nice to arrange a red wine bottle sent to our room. A few days later, we paid for upgrade to a suite. Suite was spacious and with great view. Staff members at the Harbour Club Lounge were really good and pleasant. Especially staff member name Elma serving us at the lounge for drinks and snacks hours was very friendly, pleasant and accommodating, great service etiquette and excellent personal skill. At the club desk, Gigi and Candy Tam were very helpful during out upgrading the room, making the transition went smoothly. Quenie was also very pleasant. At the Le 188 restaurant, the view was fantastic, amazing view of Hong Kong scenery. The food was good but a bit pricy. Staff Sky and Chris made my daughter's wedding celebration a most memorable night, great service skills, and assisted in putting the decorations on the table. Staff Siyi and Andrew were friendly and helpful as well. Mainly most of the staff in this hotel were pleasant but we did encounter a couple of staff that weren't nice, and somewhat rude. Particularly 1 from the Le 188 restaurant. The second unpleasant time was we received a phone call (19/11/2024) telling us very rudely that we have to settle our bill the day before we check out. Our room charge had already been settled, only the room service and 1 dinner at Le 188 restaurant. We explained that we would settle the whole bill upon checking out time, but the staff refused to accept and actually charged our credit card without our approval, since they have our credit card info due to deposit charges. For this, we aren't happy with the arrangement. Beside that, our stay was quite good.
