Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong

Fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. Everything is in a walking rage. The hotel is great with its newley renovated rooms. Highly recommended for a relaxing family stay. Stayed these for 3 days with family for short vacation and it was great.

You can experience exclusive energy healing at Yun Wellness in Shangri-La Hotel. Franza Polanen's massage therapy is really the best. I highly recommend you to experience it at least once. I met him at Capella Hotel in Bangkok. You can experience the feeling of your body being healed amazingly. So I came to Shangri-La Hong Kong to see him!! If you stay at Shangri-La Hotel, be sure to find him at Yun Wellness on the 8th floor!

Our stay at the Shangri-La in Hong Kong was nothing short of magical, as it became the setting for one of the most important moments of our lives—I proposed to my now fiancée during our visit. The team went above and beyond to make our engagement truly unforgettable, and their exceptional service deserves the highest praise. I was especially impressed with how seamlessly I could communicate with the team via WhatsApp for all my requirements. Their responsiveness and attention to detail made planning everything so much easier. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Celina for going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Gigi, Queenie, Nicole, and Ashley were also incredible, making every moment of our stay feel extra special. This was truly an experience we will never forget, and we’re so grateful to the team for their care and hospitality. Thank you for making such a meaningful moment even more memorable!

Excellent hotel with exceptional service. The newly renovated rooms are excellent. Well thought out and with everything you would need. From instant hot and cold drinking water through to copious charging points. The views of the harbour are stunning. We upgraded to the Horizon Club. This made the experience so very special. Access to the lounge during our stay elevated the whole experience. All the people we came into contact with were kind, attentive and very professional. I cannot find a single fault to report. We have stayed in a number of hotels in Hong Kong, but now this is the only hotel we will consider. Thank you to all.

I must confess Shangri-La was never my first option due to loyalty membership with other brands. However I feel compelled to compliment the newly renovated rooms! Designed fantastically with so many useful features, this is one room which is truly designed with the user in mind. pull out tray for your shoes ✅ Open wardrobe concept for more space easily storing two luggage’s ✅ Built in Hairdryer holder for a proper hairdryer meaning no wire to uncoil daily or filthy unwashed bags to fiddle with. ✅ Bedside pullout drawers with an inbuilt plug and wireless charging for your devices. No dangling wires ✅ USB sockets all around ✅ Filtered water dispenser ✅ Guest Fridge, no need to rearrange the mini bar for your own drinks ✅, albeit not very cold. Sensor activated night light that switches on when it detects motion ✅. Can’t decide if I love it or hate it but I guess it was carefully thought out. Will be my hotel of choice the next time I’m back in hk.
