Paco was the best! He is the most inviting lovely person. Always makes us feel right at home. The literal only reason we come here is because of this man. He’s amazing and I would take 2 bullets for him. No question. Hope the mandarin treats him right.

This is perhaps the best hotel I know in Asia. It's a hotel full of small details connected to Chinese culture and with an excellent team of employees. I stayed this week in a room with club access. I would like to highlight Amy and Arcmond at the club Floor that made us feel special and better than at home. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Hong Kong.

We ate at Man Wah. food is very good! Marco and adrian served us well and very attentive in preparing the peking duck botha ways… The twist to the peking duck was new and refreshing… The beef was so soft simply falling apart… and we ended with the strawberry seaweed sago with a great presentation… ambience was great and very private… overall a wonderful experience

The Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong welcomes you like an old friend and wraps you in an old-fashioned embrace. If you partly close your eyes, you can imagine the legions of people who have passed before you amongst its opulent corridors. For me, the nods to old-time grandeur feel important (maybe critical) in an ever-growing, faceless gaggle of 'modern' hotels. The staff match the surroundings. I had a charming check-in experience with Karl who was welcoming and friendly to a fault. The room was spacious (if very dark and with an infuriating set of lighting controls) and well laid out. The staff were gracious, discrete and helpful and overall, I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it for two extra nights so I didn't need to leave the bubble. Thank you.
