Halekulani Hotel

Halekulani staff is above and beyond! SO many good folks took care of us, I didn't get all their names but Jeremy at the House Without A Key/Earl's bar took exceptional care of us several nights in a row. David (lunch) & Ian and Kaile (dinner) made dining experiences easy and most enjoyable for our three generations family gatherings. Front desk staff, on check in and check out, were super friendly, and Concierge staff, especially Ryoko, were so pleasant and helpful with all our questions, 2 tours and 2 airport transfers. Housekeeping staff was prompt and so helpful. Halekulani is such a beautiful setting and amazing views of diamond head and the sea, friendly and professional staff really completes the elevated experience. Kudos to staff and management!

The hotel and rooms were beautiful and the location can't be beat. Some of the best service I have ever experienced...attentive and friendly. Several dining options and a uniquely pretty pool. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others visiting Honolulu.

The Halekulani is the best hotel in Honolulu. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and exceedingly well maintained. The staff is highly professional, friendly, and responsive. We have had breakfast at the lavish Halekulani Room Without A Key for years, and this year we decided to spend the money and stay for four nights in a Diamond Head view room. Was it worth the money? Oh, yes! The room was one of the best designed I’ve ever seen for a beach resort with shades of sand, white, pale aqua, and sea glass green with a balcony overlooking the ocean and a view of Diamond Head. The balcony had furniture with booties so that when you moved the tables or chairs it didn’t make noise disturbing other guests. You could even see the Diamond Head view from the bathroom when you opened the sliding doors on each side. The bathroom had a soaking tub, large shower, and Toto toilet with all the magic buttons. (You’ll want one). The sink had a padded stool for applying makeup at the thoughtfully provided makeup mirror, and the Halekulani toiletries produced by Lather evoked the scents of Hawaii. There was a fridge with reuseable (not plastic) water bottles that was refilled twice a day. The room was freshened twice a day with a different gift left on the bed during turn down service each night. The staff were discreet, warm, and always friendly---and, included complimentary small muffins, cookies, or fruit popsicles at pool side. The nightly Hawaiian music and show on the grounds in front of the Hua tree was blissful. This is the place where you feel off the “Waikiki grid” and pure peace to recharge. It’s a short walk from the Halekulani to Fort Debussy and the beautiful park there which is ideal for bird watching and shade. The warm, clean ocean with its tropical fish on the reef and sea turtles beckoned every day. Paradise.

Halekulani is an incredible hotel - beautifully classy, with great facilities, wonderful restaurants (including the bakery opposite) and bars, and mostly importantly, a team of extremely friendly and helpful staffs. I was greeted with the warmest welcome when I checked in. The room is elegant dressed - luxurious without being over the top. Everyday when I get back to the room I would find it immaculately made up. When I reported a little noise issue, it was dealt with with efficiency and grace. And the food! Where to begin? The breakfast is amazing, dinner at Orchids was exceptional. Even the little snacks they stock in the gym and by the pool are wonderful too. You really get what you pay for - and more.
