Nice hotel and amenities just a shame the lifts take so long to come. The pool needs to be bigger and maybe the spa too as the amount of people at the hotel cannot accommodate the small size. Also there was a communication error between hotel service desk and the spa after I confirmed my spa package price I was charge $20 more by the hotel because the spa didn’t give me some card but I confirmed the price beforehand, a little disappointed with that.

We had a high level 34th floor ocean front view in the EWA tower (there is also the Diamond tower) and the bed & breakfast package. The rooms were fine spacious, beds are good, the dresser was worn from use, no big deal. The toilet was a bit cramped in our room not ada compliant, but we were fine and not disabled in any form. Yes, there is noise along Waikiki beach but didn't bother us. Location is right across the beach with a street separating. They let you check out complimentary beach chairs for the day to take around the island. Walking in the buffet breakfast is around $42.00 each, my wife and I ate for around $36.50 daily for both of us with the package. Great breakfast, omelettes, scrambled eggs, bacon daily, potatoe (tri tators on some days or another form of potato). Along with the other hot american items you would expect, along with hawaiian fare. Nice size balcony, ours faced more to the west which is nice for sitting out in the am. Good housekeeping- daily. Use the valet service and take the headache out of using the parking garage, the valets were great. Bellman James was great, along with Tessa at the buffet, to mention only 2. All the staff were great. Alot of traffic in the Waikiki area and Oahu in general. Would stay here again. No real concerns except the Toilet space if they ever do a remodel.

Shout out to Hyatt Regency front office staff Trisha, the valet and bell services were awesome and we really felt the aloha spirit . The room was spacious and very comfortable. We had an amazing view of the ocean and enjoyed the shops and restaurants available

We had a great stay in a beautiful hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room cleaning staff were fantastic. Our room was quiet and spacious. Free daily entertainment was great, especially the Polynesian cultural dancers. The hotel is right across from the beach and very accessible to all Waikiki has to offer.

Before my review I would like to acknowledge a few of the staff at this hotel..James ( front desk) Joanna ( front desk) Jo Jo ( bartender) Jamie ( bartender) Jared ( server) I spent 16 nites at the Hyatt Centric in Hawaii, the Hyatt Regency Waikiki is ranked higher and is more expensive. I checked in on Tuesday March 18th.. I was given room 2711..when I arrived on the floor I could see that some type of work was being done, the room they gave me was a room meant for disabled. It had a very annoying sound when the door opened, the work being done on the floor was in 2712 right next to my room as the stay progressed the fumes got stronger and stronger....on Thursday I asked for a room change, I was told there was nothing available in the category I paid for ( ocean view king) until Saturday. Saturday came no one called me I went to the desk a bit after 1pm and was told " check-in is at 3pm" finally I received my room after 2pm ( half a day wasted) the room I received was horrendous, streaks if paint, some walls looked as if they had been partially sanded, the desk was "beat to shreds....mind you I'm paying over $400 a night and this is what I got. The rooms director spoke to me after I said I didn't want to speak to an assistant front desk manager. His resolve for the problem" oh we are really sorry, how about if I get you some Hyatt points" Hyatt Regency Waikiki is not a Hyatt as I know Hyatt, I spent over $3700 and the best he had to offer were Hyatt points....DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.....you will be disappointed.
