Outstanding experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Outstanding! My friends were in a two bedroom two bathroom unit on the 31st floor and I was in a standard room on the 28th floor. Service was outstanding in every area. We loved the adult pool and the snacks they brought every few hours. Housekeeping was in about twice a day. Had dinner at Quiora which was really good and a great view. Friends had the pre fix steak meal for 2 and there were leftovers for the next day. I had pasta which I loved. Bed was very comfortable. Three easy blocks to the beach and concierge will give you beach towels. Walking distance to everything you could want. Valet was always fast. Between Dean and Deluca and the Island Market on the ground floor of the property, you almost don't need to go anywhere else for food. Two small things: we didn't like any of the craft cocktails that were 20+ each. Also, right behind the pools one level down is an alleyway which is behind some shops and restaurants. Every morning, the dumpsters get emptied between 600-700 a.m. and woke me up. I am an early riser, so maybe that's why I heard it, but worth noting. The property is spendy (anywhere between 800-2500 per night depending on room category), but I would find a way and stay again!

The Best in Service!!!!

AMAZING HOTEL!!! Not enough great things to say - wish I could live here full time. Staff is exceptional, all seemed genuinely interested that you were having a spectacular stay, always offering to help, went out of there way to get things for us, and just overall delivered on teh five star experience you would expect. Check in is unique since it's up several levels from ground. The valet service here is impeccable and they remember everyone who's coming/going. Very fast! Check in was great, welcome leis and welcome cocktail. No upgrades since this is a "residences," which was a new experience for me. The rooms are fabulous and have a full kitchen and washer and dryer. The bathrooms are large with two sinks and luxe amenities. All laid out for your arrival. There are welcome totes in the rooms and cookies. Coffee is great too. Pool staff was AMAZING. They immediately greeted everyone who arrived to get them pool chairs, cold water, and cocktail menus. I was SO impressed with our server Hart. This team was just working together to make sure everyone was getting a pool chaise, water, drinks, you name it. They even went and grabbed two new green totes that my aunt had pointed out that she liked. And there is nothing to beat the view and relaxation of that infinity pool. Bellhop Allen was also amazing, showing us all the amentities of the room. Housekeeping serviced the room everyday and just were terrific. Having just stayed at the Ritz Turtle Bay, where I was extremely disappointed, I can say this is the experience I would expect at a Ritz. I didn't feel nickel and dimed and I felt the staff here just loved their jobs (even if they maybe really didn't). It's clear the training and ethos of service here is ingrained all the way down from the top to every single person working there. I want to move in!!! Stay here - you will not be disappointed. Thank you Ritz Waikiki for an amazing stay. We'll be back.

Excellent property

I stay with my wife end of July 2024, the room located in diamond tower, which is the newest tower of the 2. Knowing this is mostly a residence, I didn't expect the F&B to be offered. Residences are for your to cook or eat outside. Overall service, attention of front guests, concierges, valet and housekeeping was perfect and we could enjoy quiet well The only minus are the restaurants on location, all rather pricey, but as written above those restaurants are good to go maybe once during the stay. Dean&Luca and island market are located on the ground floor where you can find all the necessities. The residence is well located, 10 min walk from the beach along Fort de Russy park, all units seem to face the ocean. Definitely I will stay again

Waikiki Wedding Anniversary Staycation

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Both my wife and I greatly enjoyed our weekend stay-cation for our wedding anniversary. Customer service from all the hotel staff was excellent. Even though we only stay once a year, we felt very welcomed. Thank you so much! The ocean sunset view was beautiful and the room was outstanding. My wife and I appreciate the effort made by your team along with the Guest Relations team. Special thanks to Halie, Zach, Lance, Yokina, Mika, Mana and Sabrina, from La Vie Summer, Feliciana, Lerina, and Makanani, and Ysabelle from Quiroa, This is our annual wedding anniversary stay-cation visit for us, and we look forward to returning October 2025. Thanks so much!

Nice Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

The hotel is very nice and the standard of room was lovely, where I believed the hotel let itself down was the service provided. You could not use the facilities of the Spa ie steam room or sauna unless you paid for a spa treatment. Our room was not cleaned until late afternoon and as we were suffering jet lag we were out sightseeing very early in the morning so wanted to relax in our room in the late afternoon. We requested a service before midday, however after two days this still wasn't being actioned so I again phoned down to reception and like before was informed the staff were busy and I could talk to them through the Marriot Bonvoy app. I went downstairs to see reception personally and after a 5 minute wait spoke to one of the receptionists, who was very accommodating and organised the room to be serviced every morning from that date. The hotel is a very good standard and what you would expect from The Ritz Carlton. However although the staff were courteous when you requested something it wasn't followed through which definitely left me with a feeling of being underwhelmed.
