My husband and I have been here a few times over the last year and the service has always lacked so we quit going. One time we ordered a pizza to go we; clearly told the server with the handle bar mustache NO ONIONS SEVER ALLERGY. When we left we didn't think to check the pizza because the server seemed confident about the order. We were in a rush and left. Several miles down the road we opened the box and huge onions were all over the Pizza. Serving someone with an allergy is like poisoning them. For me it causes anaphylaxis. Hopland is a regular stop for us. We drive through twice or more a week. Two weeks ago driving through I decided to give the place one more try. I soon regretted it. I came in the restaurant I asked if it would be ok if I sat with my service dog on the Patio. It was particularly hot about 102. I was told yes. So I returned to my car and my dog and I went and sat on the patio. The server with the handlebar mustache called to me across the patio; was I alone? Yes, I replied and about 5 minutes later he returned with a menu and a glass of water. I politely asked for some water for my dog and this man. This short scrawny, little man starts to barrate me for not having my own water for my dog and how dare I expect that he waited on my dog.. he went on and on while he walked off back into the restaurant. I got up and left. Cause the place across the street loves my dog and doesn't serve me onions. I own my own company. If an employee ever talked to one of our customers the way he did, they'd have a new job at the unemployment office.

I booked a room at Campovida and pre-paid $577, which was required. Our plans changed and I cancelled our reservation following their cancellation policy. I was reassured I would receive a refund. I have called and written for months and never received a return call or my refund. I am left disappointed in Campovida's unethical business practices.

I speak with total honesty that the treatment we received, the lies, the disrespect and the lack of communication has left a very sad memory of my 60th birthday party that we held at Piazza de Campovida in Hopland, CA. We not only offered a dinner for 30 people at this facility we additionally rented ALL of their hotel rooms. This was on a Sunday night in July. We spent over $6000 at Piazza de Campovida. The day before the event, while fires forced the evacuation of part of the area, we needed to cancel ONE room as my friends mother was dying. We called the manager who assured our friends that they would refund the one night fee. As well, he stated that possibly they would donate it to a firefighter in the area. Two days later we received an email from said general manager telling us that the refund would not happen because their policy required one week notice. Therefore, no refund, even though two days prior he said we could have refund. NEVER were we thanked for the business and furthermore after writing to the operations manager who browbeat us to death but finally, very reluctantly, agreed to refund us (which I now have in her writing). THIS was nearly two months ago. To this date they will not return our calls or emails and NO refund given. Please stay away from this place. They do not keep their words and they treated us the entire time like they were doing us a big favor. Never were we treated as special guests who spent a lot of money at their facility. Very sad, very disrespectful.

After missing this place too many times I finally convinced my friends and husband to go there a few nights ago. It was actually hard to locate the front door. That said, on entering I thought it was a mistake. A big empty bar room. So I asked where the restaraunt was. The lady said “right here” and indicated the large tables. We sat, ordered pizza and beers with salads. Pleasant staff, prompt service. Good salad and ok pizza. The bill was $80 (I can’t recall if this was with or without tip). The point is we were still hungry. The pizza were 12” and we had shared. If we had gotten separate pizza we would have been full but the bill would have been about $50 more with tip. I’m sorry, this is just too much for what it was. Nice place, but no, we won’t go back.

We were hungry on our way North. We stopped at this place in Hopland without checking it in advance. How surprised we were to find great simple hamburger made to perfection with fantastic French fries that we devoured to the last of them. The Arugele salad with fresh strawberries and roasted sliced almonds was great as well. We highly recommend👍
