Great service!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Service was absolutely amazing and so friendly. I had came here to celebrate my bday and had some unexpected extra guest. Haniif helped me change my room and transfer without a second thought. Him and the rest of the front desk staff were very helpful & continued to make sure my stay was comforting. Kayla was a big help as well. Parking is rough, I did end up valeting but the hotel is in a great location for exploring multiple parts of the city. I will say the only problem I faced personally was finding snacks or a quick drink. The hotel did not have any vending machines and store so whenever I needed a drink I had to come downstairs to the hotel bar, or order it via dine-in. Besides that, my bday stay was wonderful and I will be back!

Excellent and Pristine!

This was our Anniversary celebration! When the front desk found out, they upgraded our room to a beautiful corner view of downtown Houston courtyard which included City Hall Theatre district. Very spacious, clean and away from elevators as requested. ALL staff were so customer service friendly. The parking staff also were very polite courteous and helpful with no problems of retrieving our vehicle. Highly recommend C Baldwin Hotel

Decent hotel for a short stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

This hotel is cute and totally adequate but not sure I'd return for the price they charge. The rooms are nice but felt blah for some reason and were kind of scuffed up. The lobby areas are nice but the staff at the front desk had some attitude. The coffee bar was closed due to under-staffing n the morning, which was a let down. They only have the option to valet park for $$ but we luckily found a street spot, and since it was Saturday evening to Sunday morning, the meter was free. Overall, nothing terrible but nothing amazing to report. Location is good if you're attending a show nearby.

Great Valet Services

Jarrett and my valet experience was exceptional. He gave great recommendations and went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me navigating around downtown Houston. The C. Baldwin Hotel is definitely on my list for my next stay in Houston.

No water!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I recently stayed in a corner king room at this hotel, and while the location seemed promising, my experience left much to be desired. The room was not particularly comfortable, featuring only a small table and a single wooden chair, which felt inadequate for the space. I stayed over Thanksgiving, and the holiday festivities created some logistical challenges. With streets closed for the parade, parking was difficult, and I had no choice but to valet park—a detail that might catch other guests off guard. Additionally, the on-site restaurant was closed during my stay, leaving the limited bar menu as the only dining option. The most disappointing part of my experience was the lack of water on my floor—a basic amenity one expects at any hotel. This issue, combined with the other inconveniences, made my stay less enjoyable than anticipated. I hope management takes steps to address these concerns to improve future guests' experiences.
