I was at the Monarch bar on a Friday night and Miss Bethany was an absolute rockstar taking care of a huge rodeo crowd! She worked so hard and did it with a smile on her face. The bar has great ambiance and even better people watching, and the drinks were delicious!

We loved this hotel for so many reasons. Decor is lovely, check-in was easy with friendly staff at every turn. Our petite queen was actually a petite king and it was larger than expected. The bed was so comfy and the linens were really nice. Bathroom was large and the towels were thick bath sheets with nice toiletries. Closet was spacious, had a room safe and two scrumptious robes. We were greeted with a delicious fruit tray for my husbands birthday and bottled water and the yummy moon pie. Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the pool. We stayed for 4 days and each day the housekeeping was spot on. We had turn down service all but the final night. They don’t have coffeemakers in the room but do have coffee service near the elevators so put on your robe and grab a cup or two in the mornings. Location was why we picked it and it didn’t disappoint. It was right next to the fine arts museum which was our first day. Literally across the street. It was 2-3 blocks from the museum of natural science, 4 or so blocks from the children’s museum and 12-15 minute walk to the zoo. Even with its proximity to the hospital area, it was super quiet. They offer ride service within a 3 mile radius and picked us up from dinner one evening, which was a nice perk. And they are close to several light rail stops, just make sure to have change as the credit card machines often didn’t work at the metro. $1.25 each ride. After the museums closed, we usually headed back to regroup and were greeted with champagne, fruited water, snacks and cookies! All were yummy! One the last day, we left our luggage for a final day at the zoo. I came back to get it while my hubs went to bring the car up (they do have valet but he won’t use it on his baby-he barely lets me drive it :-) ) and they offered champagne while I waited. Every person we encountered were just so warm and friendly. Always helpful, opening doors, always a smile. Insisted on loading the luggage for me too which was a nice touch. And I almost forgot to mention the Monarch restaurant. Make sure you don’t miss it for breakfast as it is only slightly more than you would pay elsewhere but the portions were large and delicious. The food was just a bit elevated and felt somehow special.

Rocio was amazing. We were 4 families with kids having a reunion and so helpful. We all traveled from different states. The staff and restaurant management went above and beyond in accommodating our table. The food was perfect. And my mimosa was perfect. We are so grateful!

Bethany was great. Best service i have ever had. I asked for a sweet and strong drink, she went to the lab, boom her comes my drink, the best mixology i have ever had.. i called it Zaza boom. The decor is one of the best of not the best. Light intensity, ambience and location. Again thank you
