JW Marriott Houston Downtown

Came in for a meeting, after a long exhausting day at the office..needed to relax ..great atmosphere, good ambience and the food was awesome 👌 the young lady named Tarsh took amazing care of us great recommendations on food and drinks!!! Love love love the expresso martinis

Just wanted to say that I had the most amazing time at your Main Kitchen I'm originally from Vinton Louisiana and I work in the hospitality industry as well, I’m a bartender at delta downs casino, I came down to visit the theater and just stopped by to have a cocktail which turned into a 3 course dinner thanks to my server Tarsha, she was everything plus more, and the food was delicious, I wanted something light so I had a salad, and she recommended fish tacos, after I ate dinner I had a nice stiff old fashion, as well as the pina colada cake for dessert, safe to say I was very satisfied, my wife and I appreciate you Tarsha! I hope this message finds you well thank you for making us feel at home.

Great business hotel in downtown area. Generally rates are reasonable and comparable to lesser quality places in the area. Pros - Downtown location for work - large gym in the hotel - restaurant is reasonably priced for a hotel and good food options all day - clean and well maintained rooma Cons - not the most luxurious, if you're looking for that. This is a business hotel... But would be fine staying here with the family if we had to be in the downtown Houston area

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! My husband and I were truly delighted to be upgraded to a suite upon our arrival. It was a wonderful surprise that made our stay even more memorable. Additionally, we were touched by the thoughtful gesture of providing sweet treats to celebrate my birthday. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and excellent service contributed greatly to our positive experience. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing the perfect environment for relaxation. We had a fantastic time at your property and will definitely be recommending it to our friends and family. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Friendly staff and decent upkeep couldn’t save me from the absolute sticker shock that came from grabbing a few drinks at the bar. They had the gull to charge $19++ per glass for Rose, which HEB charges $9++ per bottle in DOWNTOWN HOUSTON!?! Sorry, but your extortion tactics will not work. I refuse to pay JW Marriott prices just to be extorted at every point of sale. Your business plan is broken; don’t take it out on your guests. Don’t make us responsible for shoring up your employees paychecks. There are so many other option in and around your hotel, perhaps that’s why there are only three people in the entire restaurant?
