Service is outstanding! Rooms are very clean and comfortable. I slept very well here and food quality was top notch. Highly recommend!

I've stayed at the Thompson Hotel many times in Houston and it's a fantastic hotel. It's modern, clean, and well designed. The lobby floor is up on the 7th floor. There is a wonderful outdoor pool that really feels like vacation with cabanas and all. The food at the restaurant and room service is delicious, including their burger and chicken fingers. Gym has a couple of treadmills, rowing machine, weights, all that you need while away. The gym has a great view of the downtown skyline while on the treadmill. The rooms are super comfortable. Complimentary in-room nespresso. Huge shower. Also outside across the main floor is a wonderful coffee shop, Maven. Definitely recommend. A warning, overnight parking fee is steep at $75/night. But they do have a complimentary car service that can drive you within a couple mile radius for free. I've used that for short distance trips. A little hit or miss depending on the demand, but it's very nice (a BMW series 7) for when it's available.

The Thompson Houston has amazing views, and being there really does feel like being wrapped in glass with the city as your backdrop. The hotel is filled with lots of amenities and good restaurant food options. This goes without saying but the entire staff are very friendly and attentive, and my service experience with Tony was one of the best I’ve ever had at any hotel, including the many Park Hyatts and Marriotts Marquis I’ve stayed at. He was incredibly attentive and went out of his way to make sure anything I needed was provided with a professional, warm, and welcoming attitude. I was there for business but the care that was given made me forget I was there for work. This place is truly a standout, and every hotel needs people as personable as the staff working here!

I had breakfast at Solo every morning of my stay. I had the pleasure of being attended to by Angelica, Ana, and Jennifer. Very attentive and super friendly. And the food is spectacular. I highly recommend it.

The hotel was beautiful. Loved the heated pool, and the view was spectacular. We did unfortunately have a problem with our room, and my friend took it to the desk, hoping for a simple solution. My friend was passed on to one of the managers, I believe it was Rosie, he did not have a good experience at all. As someone who works in hospitality, it was shocking that someone with that title has the worst attitude and didn't have any intent on actually helping. My friend felt so pushed away, unheard, and felt very disrespected after the talk. Would not recommend this hotel to anybody because they obviously do not know how to treat their guests.
