Perfect stay in Pranburi

It was a really welcoming experience. The room is really nice and the breakfast is also very delicious. In particular, the staff at the front desk is very good as well. The welcome drink is so nicely prepared. The hotel is very clean, the environment and the beach are very good, and the swimming pool is really nice too. We can recommend the hotel.I hope we will come again next time.

I really loveeeeeee this place. Good atmosphere and suitable for relaxation. The hotel is far away from Hua Hin city about 30 minutes, but it not too far and very quiet. The atmosphere in the hotel is beautiful. All the staffs are very service-minded.

Peaceful

Second time visit to Aleenta which (importantly) isn’t really in Hua Hin but is just south of Pak Nam Pran, technically in Pranburi, towards the northern end of Khao Kalok beach. Very small hotel, with about 20 rooms split across two sites on the beach some 400 yards apart, with additional villas operated by the hotel (some of which are set away from the beach). One of these sites has rooms with direct access to a reasonably-sized pool and the other has several beachfront rooms with plunge pools, as well as the main restaurant which serves an absolutely excellent breakfast menu. The whole strip along the Khao Kalok beach is very quiet, with few foreign tourists and mostly Thai weekenders using the hotels or their own beachfront villas. We love the area and the ease of cycling and walking along the beachfront. There are 10-20 traditional restaurants within easy walking/cycling range and all of Pak Nam Pram is within a 30 minute cycle (c.90 minutes walk). 5 minutes walk to 7-11 store, which has a cash machine. We had a great room about 10 yards from high tide, with a few resident geckos hiding for night. Fairly quirky in style and quite simple, but suited us well. No TV but very good internet connectivity. Housekeeping very efficient, with regular changes of bed linen Hotel staff are incredibly polite and helpful, though not all speak good English (though all have better English than my Thai!). The beach is fabulous, wide (at low tide!) and very under-used, except in the late afternoon or by kite-surfers (who may have up to 70 kites up at once at the various kite-surfing schools to the left and right from the hotel. Free use of bikes is offered for travel in the local area and a chauffeured buggy is also available for travel between the hotel sites and also to some of the nearer restaurants etc. The local food speciality is sun-dried squid, which is widely offered by the local restaurants (not particularly at the Aleenta, which had a broad menu with both Western and Thai dishes, cooked to a high standard) - and there can often be seen some 80 squid boats out to sea at night, as well as some local net fishing off the beach and the occasional fishing boat that comes in close. We’ve already booked to return again.

“We loved the hotel accommodations and the staff was courteous and eager to please. The resort is situated directly on the waterfront and every unit borders the beach. You can find a few eateries/cafe/bars off of the property but the quality of food and service was not as good as the resort's dining facility. My only negative was the large number of stray dogs that roam the village outside of the resort.”
