Anantara Hua Hin Resort & Spa

Unfortunately we got off to a bad start at arrival due to an incorrect room allocation. Not sure if this was the hotel, bookings.com or our fault.This was rather disappointing but after contacting management and expressing our concerns the matter was addressed quickly, and we were very grateful to be allocated an upgrade which was very much appreciated. Thank you Mark, James and Ray. This is a wonderful, genuine 5 star hotel with amazing staff, beautiful gardens, amazing pool and a breakfast buffet with outstanding quality food that would please any nationality. This hotel is a little way out of the centre of Hua Hin 5.8 Klm but you can catch a grab for around 121 Thai Baht, so cheap. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering visiting Hua Hin

Beautiful like all the other Anantaras 😇 the first one of the chain of hotels! With huge trees and plantation all around. The lagoon area with the Spa was awesome too. Attended the lovely full moon festival buffet dinner with dance and live music at pool! Only housekeeping needs slight improvement!

We booked the premium sea view room with terrace (room 109) We love Anantara hotels but this is not the chill out experiences we were looking for. Upon check in we were informed of renovation work which included a restaurant very close to our room, the noise was bearable but we didn't expect our terrace to be metres away from where events are hosted. I even got kicked off my sunbed so they could set up. We would ask to move rooms but there's no way we want to be by the lagoon with more mosquitos. On a plus side the staff are friendly and the room is very clean. The hotel is far out of town and there's nothing much you can walk to. At breakfast we were seated in the Italian restaurant which was dark and cold due to not enough seating in the breakfast area After staying at the Anantara Bangkok at the start of our trip the Hua Hin hotel isn't doing it for us and we've got another 9 nights to go. Photo shows the restaurant renovations and a shower being installed and the event being set up metres away from our terrace.

Loved the staff friendlyness, but this is not Anantara level. Rooms and hotel area needs a big upgrade.

We have been to Anantara 2nd time this year and few more time previous years. As we expect all the staff, as well as all services, are very well (that is why we are coming back, again and again! Standard of cleaning is always at high level as well! I want to mention few staff names (even though we want to say thanks to everyone) who really deserve our hug; Mr. Jo (I think Kitchen's Supervisor) who was always very activ even though very shy, Mr. Mix and Mr. Atom both waiters, all staff from Soup section and from Omleta place, Mrs Koy (our house keeping), Mr. Roy from Reception
