Reviews for Mövenpick Asara Villa & Suite

Amazing hotel!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

I visited Hua Hin for the first time and stayed at this resort for a relaxing weekend, which was a great choice! The hotel has a tropical feel with Thai charm, and it's within walking distance to the pool, restaurants, and amenities. I really loved our villa with a private pool and bath. They have two on-site restaurants serving Thai and international cuisine, plus they organize themed nights like an Italian buffet, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel staff is welcoming and professional. And of course, you can't leave without trying their signature spa treatment—it was sooo good! Honestly, I didn’t even want to leave the hotel to explore the city itself, haha. Hope to visit again in the future!

Good stay in a quality hotel with some limitations

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Mövenpick hotel is some distance from Hua Hin town and you need transport to get around. A shuttle is provided to go to the night market but only in the evening. We had booked an almost all inclusive package which was good value. Our room was spacious and overlooked an artificial lagoon with a patio. There was a separate living room and a decent size bathroom. Service was on the whole reasonable. There are 2 wings to the property, one side having private villas and the other overlooking the artificial lagoon. We did not have ocean view from our room and we are not sure if there are any rooms at Mövenpick that have ocean views. There are 2 restaurants but unfortunately we were limited in our menu choices due to our package. We could not order many items on the regular menu. There is a gym and a spa for Thai massage. They also have a daily chocolate hour but we did not make much of it as there is too much chocolate. Overall a reasonable stay .

More than a pleasant surprise .

As a loyal Accor Member, I tend to look for their properties as i generally know what to expect from their brands. I didn’t want a huge beachside resort, but sometime more boutique . I must say I was more than pleasantly surprised. With most rooms being a 1 bedroom private pool villa with all the appropriate facilities. And I don’t mind the older fashioned Thai decor a pleasant change from the atypical rooms many hotels offer. The main focus of the hotel was the beachfront aspect with all dining facilities with a beach view. 2 generous pools , a clean blue water beach and pristine white sand. I enjoyed a number of cocktails and quality food servings during my stay. Staff were very attentive and helpful. For my first visit to Hua Hin the hotel offers 3 shuttle services per day to visit the centre of the town, although the Hotel had enough for me to enjoy. I’m seriously considering re-booking the property for my next trip to Thailand in September. Far less busy than Phuket and Pattaya. Highly recommended.

Amazing well established resort !

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Ok. I really wanted to give this resort a rating of 5 but there are just a few small things to fix up. Firstly I want to thank Paul and his team That I interacted with daily, Joey, Ning, Sumit, Sa, Sandee, Kenta, Keng, Time, Dang, Dream, Nook and the team at the Spa. All these staff Members went out of there way to make sure I was looked after especially Joey who adds a great energy to this place and also Kenta who is on an internship, he is so nice and friendly. The room, Villa 123 , with pool was great, checkin was smooth and easy, breakfast was great (don’t listen to the other reviews, it’s excellent. I also had room service and lunch and all food was really good. The resort is well maintained , it’s established with great greenery and has the settled in look which I prefer over brand new. Now here are the couple of items you need to know, there is no beach (trust me) so you have to use the pools and that in itself causes a little issue with the sunbeds! There is not enough and guests abuse the towel on the bed and go missing for 4 hours! Apparently there is someone that manages outside but I did not see her once, this is your job to manage: one sign in the most stupid location will not work and who Is managing it! The talk of the resort even as I am Leaving now is the sunbeds and how badly you manage it. So whoever is the manager of pools / outside get leading and get out there to see the problem. I know this falls to Paul overall so Paul maybe make one of the F&B, pool/bed/towel lead like other resorts do, if you want to compete with those others then you have to implement more than a chalk board sign ( actually maybe have 3, 1 at each entrance to the outdoor area) Anyway I loved it just with a couple of nuances to Fix! Cheers for the warm welcome !
