The property is stunning but the service is slow and unorganized. When you ask for something, expect a 30 min - 1 hour wait. Water and coffee/tea are not readily available to guests. Nothing was explained to us upon arrival, even though we ended up learning there are certain ways things are done, would've been nice to know. The location, with outside food options down the street and taxis readily available, is good. Room was great except for the air conditioning that was very loud and made a squealing sound throughout the night that made it hard to sleep. But better than no air conditioning at all, I think it just needs to be serviced. The restaurant and bar onsite are expensive. But again, the resort property has to be one of the most beautiful with iguanas and birds abounding. We loved wlaking around with our binos.

An enjoyable experience with a few hitches, deserving of its mid-range price. The room was comfortable though a bit dated. The air conditioning was powerful and the shower had good water pressure. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the beach food quite good, and the dinner just okay. We very much enjoyed the beach palapas with beachside service. The palapa bar by the beach had great service, a wonderful view and vibe. On the negative side, the overall good service was marred by a few instances, one most notably in the Chez Binni restaurant at dinner. Please know that this hotel is not very handicapped accessible. All and all, an enjoyable couple days in a hotel that has some real strengths.

Wonderful and authentic experience. Safe and quiet. Excellent beach and pool area. Highly recommended. Food is expensive but there are many options near the resort. Room is spacious and comfortable Starbucks needs to open before 11:00 We are definitely going back!
