Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel

This was the best hotel stay. The whole hotel is so fun and they definitely encourage having a good time especially at their ski bar. The staff was awesome and friendly but Jessica truly is a gem she took care of me throughout my whole stay and was always on top of everything. When she heard it was my buddies birthday she sent us cookies and brownies. She is the most sweet and thoughtful hotel employee I have ever encountered.

This hotel property is such an unexpected gem! Nestled among the shops and restaurants of Huntington Beach directly across from the pier and the beach, it offers so much that isn't evident from the outside. Besides offering well-appointed rooms decorated in a very beachy vibe (and featuring a record player in every room - our room had The Eagles LP "Hotel California") the lobby is on the second floor, giving a feel of exclusivity and escape from the world below. The staff is possibly the best I've encountered en total at any property!! Every single person, from valet to front desk to housekeeping to bar/restaurant staff was polite, friendly, welcoming and always had a smile. And I really appreciated being able to communicate with their team via text message check ins throughout our stay. Daniel and Adin were helpful with anything we requested and again were extremely friendly and helpful. One other person stood out and would be my selected MVP of this property - I believe her name is Vanessa (?) but she always seemed to be at the front desk for the morning / day shift. Always helped me with any questions, getting change, replace my room key, or make suggestions of where to go and what to do for our stay. She has long curly dark hair and the most welcoming smile every single day. This is officially my happy place and our go-to property for our staycations.

I stayed at the Shorebreak over Xmas & had a WONDERFUL time. Steven Khuon, Hotel Manager & his staff, Adan, Lauren, Anthony, Spencer, Danny & Vanessa were attentive & personable. The hotel is pet friendly,so Mocha & Lucy also had a great time!

Honestly, this might be the best hotel experience of have ever had (and I travel for a living so that says a lot). The staff are the most attentive, friendly, hospitable, and just plain fun!! Danny, Vanessa, Delorean, Steven, and our wonderful server (I’ve forgotten his name) made our stay so special! I can’t wait for our next stay here!!

Danny and Vanessa at the front desk were so helpful with my stay. I stay at the Shorebreak every year for Christmas with family and the service is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is delicious and I love bringing my dog. It’s such a great atmosphere.
