Perched on the promenade facing the old city center, the view from Adriana, Hvar Spa Hotel, Croatia's first member of The Leading Small Hotels of the World, combines the Cathedral, the Arsenal, the Venetian piazza, and the bay all in one sweep of the eyes. Completely renovated as a stylish luxury hotel and spa, Adriana's amenities are as diverse as its view, making it a perfect place to relax, renew, and rejoice. The luxurious Sensori Spa offers therapeutic and esthetic treatments, massage, and a wide range of programs. The rooftop terrace features a heated, indoor/outdoor seawater pool and a spectacular sky bar and lounge area. At the Adriana, it is easy to see why Conde Nast Traveler rated Hvar as one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world.

Loved our girls' weekend stay here. You are walking distance from the ferry (the hotel will pick you up there in a golf cart so you don't have to worry about getting your luggage to the hotel) and water taxis to easily get around to the islands and also walking distance to the path to the fortress. Being right in the town is super convenient for restaurants, and there is a place to swim in the ocean a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The spa was excellent with a glass-windowed sauna overlooking the water. Delicious breakfast with a great range of items, including sparkling wine. Staff also super friendly and helpful.

This is a great hotel for a stay in Hvar. They get off to a great start as they meet the arriving ferries and have a golf cart that will take your bags to the hotel. Even though it's only a 5-7 minute walk to the hotel, it's nice not to have to lug your bag. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The location, right on the port, is hard to beat with great views and very convenient to anything you'd want to do in Hvar town. The rooms are spacious and modern and have great views of the port. In addition, they have a great rooftop bar with even better views. I was here in late October, so toward the end of shoulder season, so it was pretty reasonable and I was able to get a reservation only a couple weeks out. I believe if you are here in prime tourist season in the summer, it would be more expensive and you would need to make a reservation further out, but I think all the great service and perks will be there no matter when you stay. Would absolutely recommend.

What a lovely hotel! Beautifully situated on the promenade around the harbor with a view of all of the boats coming and going. The rooms were spacious, although bathrooms were a tiny bit cramped and an odd layout. We were welcomed at check in with a glass of champagne which was a lovely touch. The rooftop bar has a great view of the harbor and the breakfast buffet in the lobby was amazing! We cancelled dinner reservations elsewhere to have dinner at the restaurant on our last night and it was worth it. Lovely food, generous helpings, and great service. If I ever return to Hvar, I would definitely stay here-- the staff were super and the location is great for walking into town. There are numerous restaurants and bars within an easy walking distance. Loved everything about this place!

Fabulous setting right on the harbour. I would definitely recommend getting a sea view room. Ours was on the first floor and when we lay in bed with the window open it was almost like being on a ship, looking out on the little fishing boats, with the sound of the water slapping gently and the sun glittering on the sea. The room itself was very comfortable - although what is it with hotel designers and doorless glass bathrooms? However, here at least the toilet had a separate wooden door. Elsewhere, the hotel was bright and everywhere the wonderful view of the harbour. We especially liked the roof terrace bar. The staff were extremely helpful too: there was no kettle in the room when we arrived, but we just had to ask and one was sent up with a couple of mugs. Ditto with swimming towels - there are towels on the sunbeds on the roof where there is also a covered (but quite chilly!) pool but if you get a chance, swim in the sea. I found a place on the far side of the harbour where there are steps in to the water and it was glorious.

The hotel was wonderful. The staff is very courteous, and friendly. The rooms are comfortable, and the restaurant very good. Hvar surpassed all expectations. The Adriana was no exception. The concierge service is outstanding. They helped me rent a bike, scooter, and boat. Very difficult to procure otherwise. The hotel is centrally located, but to one side so away from pedestrian traffic. Quiet enough to sleep with the windows open, enjoying the sea breeze. I am definitely visiting again!
