This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It really is a palace. The service and food were very good and my room was really special. I had upgraded to a very large room with a balcony which was just great. When we first arrived, we were picked up by a horse and carriage at the gate.

Staying at the Taj Falaknuma is a magical experience. We’ve stayed in many hotels that call themselves palaces, but this is one that was actually built as a palace. The wonderful food, excellent service and beautiful swimming pool were just a few of the highlights for us. We were in one of the historical suites which had an amazing view of the city and the front of the palace.

Had a stunning 6 course meal at the hotel, whilst sitting outside watching the sun setting. Lovely view over Hyderabad, as well as live musicians and the most delicious food. Would definately recommend this for fine dining. A pity that we didn't get to do a tour of the palace, will have to do that next time

Our stay at Taj Falaknuma Palace was truly amazing. From the very start, entering the palace in a chariot felt magical. The staff members were extremely friendly, helpful, and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The check-in process with Shibu was smooth, and the check-out with Tejal was just as easy. The palace itself is breathtaking, with its beautiful old architecture that carries a rich history. The high tea was a lovely experience, followed by a fascinating palace tour. The best part of our visit was the Qawwali session—it was absolutely mesmerizing and created a wonderful atmosphere. The continuous birthday surprises made our trip even more special and memorable. The staff was always ready to help, even when we wanted pictures together, which was very thoughtful of them. One of the most unforgettable moments was the birthday celebration during breakfast, where a flute performance added a magical touch to the morning. Overall, our experience at Taj Falaknuma was fantastic. Everything, from the hospitality to the royal feel of the place, made our stay truly special. We would love to visit again and relive this beautiful experience.

It is just amazing how every little detail was taken care of in our room and in the restaurants. The personalized looking after with so much 'adab' was just wonderful. The warm welcome on arrival and that too in a buggy. The floral welcome outside and inside our rooms was so speical. And the See you Soon on departure brought tears to my eyes! The music during the day was so welcoming. The flautist playing 'Happy Birthday' for our daughter at breakfast. The Qawwals every evening just added to the already lovely atmosphere. There is so much to see and enjoy that there was no desire to leave the grand environment of Taj Faluknama Palace Hotel.. The beautiful fragrances of rose petals, the candles. The high tea with beautiful crockery and the variety served with so much elegance. Really made it very special. The banquet dinner on our last day was delicious and the evening so enjoyable. Our 7 year old grandson was also looked after so well, someone helped him to look at the book on gems, he attended a baking session, and now he can be a Palace guide, everything was explained by Fatima so clearly and well. On the last day the luxurious treat of pampering my feet! The multani mitti in the bathroom all just added to to the royal experience. I would say luxury at its best.
