We spend 3 nights at the resort to attend a wedding. The positives: Everyone we encountered was lovely- We had a great experience at the restaurant with out server and lunch was excellent. When we went to the front desk on some issues, we were met with an immediate, can do attitude. The not so positive: The resort hasn't been updated, the grounds aren't well kept, lots of dead plants, brown grass etc. Our room- It was a good size, super plain and on the 2nd floor without an elevator for our bags. (not the worst thing, but i thought the front desk should have made sure it was okay) We had a loud banging noise every 15-20 minutes come from the vent on the top of the wall, all day and night, each day. We went to the front desk to complain and they were lovely, asked if someone could come to the room and we said yes No change to the banging noise or follow up- It was startling loud. It was very odd to have a hotel room without a full length mirror. especially a hotel that hosts weddings, most of those guests would appreciate a full view of how they look before attending any event. We asked the front desk about it, they very nicely sent one up and it was a thin mirror still in its packaging leaning against the wall- The resort fee of $40. plus $17. in parking- Like someone else said, it's self parking and not protected. The resort fee gave us nothing- we had very slow internet and our room wasn't refilled with the supplies we use the day before. housekeeping- We were out the first day until 4:00 in the afternoon, housekeeping hadn't come , we were leaving again by 7:00 and asked them to come back or at least restock the room, they left towels, no waters and didn't replace the coffee cups. the biggest miss was in the details, the small easy to please touches, that were just missing.

This will be somewhat mixed - we went as a group of 4 friends for massages and a day by the pool, renting a cabana. The hotel and spa facilities are really pretty - classic Palm Spring vibes and started out to be a VERY enjoyable day. We settled in at our cabana after the spa and were surprised to find a child's birthday party booked in the cabana beside us. Now, we are mothers and love kids, however, this was next level. The parent of the party was super aggressive in jockeying for pool space for the group, so much that we exited to pool and didn't go back in. The kids were screaming all afternoon and not a single staff member engaged to improve the situation. It was evident to us that the birthday group were family members of a staff member at the resort. If I was this mother, I would have approached our cabana with a round of margaritas, preemptively apologizing for what was about to go down. Problem solved. Instead, she stared us down for hours, blared music that competed with the ambient music from the resort and encouraged the group of kids to scream, splash etc - the pool staff didn't do a thing about it. So - a great time could have been had if not for the family of a staff member obnoxiously acting like they literally owned the place with zero regard for paying guests and the pool staff for ignoring it all day.

Nice location with the Mountains in the back round. Pool area could use some updates. Pool chairs are stained and need to be updated. The rooms need to be updated as well doors were old and bath room were small and very tight. The over all resort was pleasant the walk to there different locations (restaurant, lobby, pool and room) was very nice.

Myself, wife, and sister in-law went to Timmy Bahama in Indian Wells, Ca. We were seated by the hostess, given menus, and water glasses were filled. Then we waited twenty minutes while at least three waiters, the bus boy, and what I later found out was the manager walked by us, attending the five or six groups seated among the 20 tables in the restaurant. I asked for the manager. Told him of our disappointment in the unservice and we had lost our appetite and were leaving. Not sure if this is just another case of bad service in an overpriced restaurant or the fact we were the only Black group played any part.

Maybe the best spa resort in the Palm Springs area if not in the U.S. Beautiful rooms and excellent food all in a very intimate setting.
