We were met by Detress at the front desk. Lovely experience. Couldn’t be happier. Great beginning to a great stay! Alicia our server at breakfast was wonderful too! The building and area is lovely as are the restaurants and rooms. Everything is clean.

This is a wonderful place to live in an island fantasy in the middle of a desert- to spend your time and $ at! I was leery to keep our reservation after the LA fires and wondered if we could somehow share our points to extend to a family who had lost their home. Having experienced being evacuated by fires in the past, I really didn’t want to add to the congestion or stresses. However, We considered canceling and losing $/points etc We reasoned that California is BIG place and after alot of planning/ anticipation..we reasoned that we only had a week holiday together this year, so we decided to still go and try to get some vitamin c and D, and I was so glad we did. This TB It is well designed to accommodate many different groups / activities. To be encouraged to pick our own orange or lemon made me very happy! I also need to mention their activity director by name - “ Christina “ as she was so lovely! She handled a potentially awkward situation with such professionalism and genuine generosity. Give her a raise, please would ya!! 🧘🏻♀️👏 We did have a few minor annoyances as an old fridge was growling away our 1st night and we couldn’t get any heat working at 1st ( we brought some snow with us!) but that said when we brought it to the staff attention on day 2 it was addressed quickly and the maintenance guy was very efficient and accommodating. He even fixed the shower door issue— as we didn’t know why it wouldn’t open from the right side . He was happy to fix it too! ( yes, we gave him a tip!) We splurged & went to their restaurant on our last night, and the food and waiters were fantastic but it was the two guitarist that truly made the night magical. The audience seemed oblivious to the ambiance maybe too busy enjoying their dinner— but for someone who is sensitive to noise in public places… this was so amazing. To be able to talk, and not be interrupted by crashes and motors and actually see real talented musicians. Loved every moment. As an aside: Palm Springs is a bit of an overwhelming to this small town Canadian. So many golf resorts and water wasted on swimming pools. ( counted 83 from the air) I usually had whole pools ALL to myself. I wondered if I was the only one who can’t resist the opportunity to swim. Outdoor Natural gas is also not being used wisely. Just saying. We all need to “ do bettter” and it seemed somewhat wasteful to watch all those flames 🔥 just for looks The airlines and car rentals are doing all they can to transfer us spoiled humans! Please try to Be patient and kind my friends.. we are so blessed to even be able to travel like we do. And to answer the question: ( you’ve read all this!) Nope. The research I came up with said There is No actual Mr Bahama. Three guys came up with their tropical getaway concept of perfection. I don’t subscribe to perfection: but that said this place is pretty darn good!!

Wow. What a gem! Stayed here instead of the usual Esmerelda, and I’m never going anywhere else! A beautiful, small, intimate resort with lovely rooms and a great attention to detail. If you are looking for the perfect antidote to somewhat faceless ‘mega resorts’ look no further. The spa was a great experience too - highly recommended!! I arrived at the Tommy Bahama after a very, very long travel day from Riyadh, and was having a hard time finding my room. I encountered Bruce from maintenance, who didn’t just direct me to my room but went out of his way to take me there, carrying one of my bags, the refused a tip. That’s how they roll at this property, and Bruce is a great brand ambassador. If you need a lovely hotel in the area that makes you feel like you matter, then this is the place for you! Oh, don’t forget to try the oranges!!

We stayed at four Palm Springs/ Palm Desert hotels in January and Tommy Bahama was our absolute favorite and the one we will return to in the future. The resort is beautiful, calm and has all the luxuries you want for a great holiday - the rooms were so nice and clean, the restaurant was delicious but above all it is the staff that makes this place exceptional. People were so kind and accommodating since we were traveling with a toddler. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Tommy Bahama Miramonte between Christmas and New Year's in December 2024. We really enjoyed our time at the resort. The rooms were updated and spacious, the grounds are outstanding, and the staff was pleasant and accommodating.
