Reviews for The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas

A beautiful resort with the highest standard of service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

I had the pleasure of spending quite a bit of time at the Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas for an event my company hosted. I was able to interact with much of the staff - from management to banquet to front desk and valet. The property, the pool, the spa and the rooms are all beautiful - but the staff is OUTSTANDING. Truly some of the most wonderful, friendly, helpful and even funny staff I've ever worked with. Adam and Adriana the managers were warm, attentive and were always there for warm and enjoyable conversation as they helped out with all of our needs. Kurt at concierge went above and beyond to track down a missing package and always offered a warm greeting when I saw him. Murad at the front desk, never without a huge smile, was one of the most cheerful, helpful and professional people I've ever met at a front desk (as was all of rest of the front desk staff.) And the banquet staff - the true unsung heroes who bent over backwards for both our staff and guests. Just wow. The entire team for catering/banquet/bar, every single one, went above and beyond with service and kindness. If you're considering staying here or hosting an event here, just know it is going to be beautiful and enjoyable... but know even more YOU WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF WITH THE HIGHEST STANDARD OF SERVICE. Thank you, Ritz-Carlton Dallas Las Colinas.

A Ritz?

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

A Ritz Carlton property is held to higher standards than most. So, a review of an RC property should reflect that standard. I have stayed at this property several times, but when it was Four Seasons prior to becoming a Ritz. This property has always intrigued me, mostly how it has survived in such an interesting, transitional area in DFW. The property is older, though has been kept up nicely. Upon driving up to the hotel, it seems more like you are entering a senior living community. The building is a clunky brown on brown cluster that rises out of a questionable neighborhood of strip malls and shopping centers. Don’t get me wrong, the grounds are nice and the facility is well appointed. Upon check in, the line was 31 people deep, snaking through the lobby. Rooms were not ready which required luggage to be stowed. Staff were friendly and offered a water bottle for the wait. The rooms, though tiny are very nice. Nice furnishings, good bath products and real coffee mugs! don’t see this often. Turn down service is a nice touch. Unfortunately the pool was closed! during my stay. What a horrible time to close a pool for maintenance during a hot week in Texas with several conferences going on. They allow you to use a facility next door but honestly it was a big hassle. Due to being constrained in a neighborhood, there’s really no where to go for a walk or run. Once you leave the property it’s busy streets, so I opted to jog in the parking lots which was a bummer. Again, facility was clean, people were nice but I guess I just expect more from a Ritz property.

Service at Pool

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Excellent property. Portions are under renovations but not intrusive in the least. Stayed a couple of nights while in town for the TCU game. Main purpose of the review was to share about the great experience we had at the recently renovated pool area and the associated services. We had the pleasure of having Thomas as our server. He was kind, genuine, and sincere taking time to see us even when we were not in his service area. An organization is only as good as the people who work in it and the Ritz Dallas, Las Colinas is fortunate to have Thomas as part of their team.

The Ritz-Carlton Experience Is Real and It's People Are What Separate It From The Rest..

I am writing this letter and hoping it makes it back to the Upper Management of the Ritz-Carlton Dallas (Los Colinas). First off I am thrilled in how this was handled and my confidence in the hotel group has never been higher. I got a call back from Mr. Murad Muazzam the Asst. Front of House Manager. He was extremely sincere, genuine, patient, and professional in the conversation. I am in high level Customer Service and have worked many years in Management myself and can tell when someone is passionate about their career and client care. Companies can offer points or monetary fixes in situations like this via email or text etc. but the fact Murad called me and was focused on hearing my concerns meant so much to me. From the start this was never an issue with the staff there as him and Tabitha were extremely gracious at check in. I come away from this feeling like the Ritz-Carlton experience is something that you take great pride in. My goal was never to share my experience in a negative way to the public because so often certain items are out of the control of said business and merely a comedy of errors. Now I will be sharing my thoughts online with gleaming positive reviews as I feel respected and heard. I thank you kindly for reaching out to me in an efficient and sincere way. Mr. Muazzam is an asset to your business, he has a natural ability with conversation and a personality that shines both in person and on the phone. Please let him and the Managers there know how I feel about this and I'll be booking a stay there next time I'm in Dallas. I can see now why so many companies model themselves after the Ritz. For me the biggest reflection on how much a company cares is not just what happens when things are perfect but more so how things are handled when it didn't go according to plans. This is a big deal to me and your establishment and the rest of the Bonvoy group will cont. to be my personal hotel favorite and what I recommend to my friends and clients. Sincerely, Wesley L.

The staff was fantastic, from the doorman to the front desk. Everyone was really friendly though very professional. The room was immaculate, the view was picturesque. The restaurants were great, the lounges were exceptional. If you want luxury, that's the place to go.
