Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul

My stay was spectacular, I had come with my wife and my baby boy. Right from checking meeting Consu, guest relations executive . Consu took care of everything during our stay with the setup and chocolates in the room. Umut the duty manger was spot on in having the AC swiftly rectified and a true asset to your team. The concierge team, doorman , security as well special thank you to housekeeping and in room dining who catered to all my requests and eye for detail. The front office manager Ozgen as well an individual with genuine interest towards hospitality and the work she does. Kudos to the entire Shangri-La Istanbul team. Looking forward to visiting again. This was my first time in Istanbul, and of course I didn’t have many information about the city, but the Shangri-La staff made our stay comfortable and pleasant, Ismail was very helpful with me and my friend and recommended nice places to visit and restaurants to eat. Thank you to concierge team for being friendly and helpful with everything we needed. Overall the hotel is amazing, staff very friendly and rooms are spotless. A proper 5 star hotel

We attended the high tea and it was decadent. The service was outstanding by Ayhan. There was an elaborate selection of teas including cold and hot menu. Apart from the elegant settings, the pianist elevated the place to exquisite. A high tea hidden gem of Istanbul

one of my personal belongings—a valuable Hermès handbag—went missing. I immediately reported the incident to hotel management, who assured me they would investigate. I granted full access to my room and all its contents for a thorough search, hoping for a swift resolution. Despite their investigation, which spanned several days, I was informed via email that they regretted the situation. This response is wholly unsatisfactory and falls far short of what one would expect from a prestigious hotel. No compensation or alternative solution was offered, leaving me with no recourse for an item of considerable value that disappeared while in their care. I would strongly advise future guests to be cautious, as this experience has raised serious concerns about the level of security and accountability at this property. While the hotel’s facilities may meet expectations, the handling of this situation has left me deeply disappointed.

Absolutely loved loved loved our stay at the Shangri-la Bosphorus, not just for the incredible and fine surroundings, decor, aroma, food but most of all the impeccable service, warmth and pleasant aura from each and every member of staff! They were all so lovely and so kind to help us make this stay so amazing. I was there for my mother's birthday and they were so attentive to detail, providing a cake and a card and wishing her a happy birthday which was very touching and thoughtful. We really loved all the kind efforts they made to make it so special. Aside from that, the rooms are a really nice size, with so much attention to detail, the shower and bathtub is so nice to use everyday, especially after a long day of sight seeing and trekking everywhere! Amenities are just gorgeous, bed super comfy and a lovely selection of teas and coffees provided. Very nice for the mornings or for relaxing evening before bed. The breakfast, wow, was out of this world, with anything and everything at your disposal, any kind of food, really loved the selection as well as the impeccable manners from the wait staff and the lovely chefs who were always there with a warm smile. Also the hotel is very clean and smells absolutely delightful every time you come in and walk around, it's like being in a dream. Truly gorgeous hotel and I can't wait to be back!
