The Peninsula Istanbul

Our stay at The Peninsula Istanbul was exceptional. It is a stunning property filled with history and character. Its location on the Bosphorus is perfect as you are close to most of the main tourist attractions and has excellent views to the Asian side of the city and the Blue Mosque. Top Side Bar and Gallada were both excellent. Our room had great views of the Bosphorus. It was large and well-appointed. The people are what make this property so impressive. The service was above and beyond. My husband had a minor medical emergency and needed to go to the hospital. Nedret and Onur (concierge services) dropped everything to help us. They arranged for the hotel car to take us to the hospital and stayed in constant communication with me throughout. When it was clear we would not be able to get to a pharmacy before it closed, I was able to text a photo of the prescription to Nedret and she sent a courier to fill the prescription. Erman, the guest services manager, called while we were at the hotel to inquire if we needed anything additional in the room or other arrangements made before we returned. They again allowed us use of the hotel car to get back from the hospital. Upon our return, Erman was waiting for us on the steps of the hotel and escorted us back to our room when the prescriptions were waiting along with hot tea. The following day, both Erman and Ilker checked on us several times. Without their help, this would have been a much more stressful situation to navigate. My husband and I were both so grateful for their kindness and professionalism. This is a fabulous property run by an excellent team.

It was great to be back in the warm embrace of the Peninsula Istanbul. The service was immaculate as always and one never tires of the view of the Bosphorus. Room and housekeeping were tip top and they remembered my birthday which was a nice gesture. Always lovely to be greeted by the service team and staff out front of hotel were especially kind and helpful. The house car took us to Taksim Square and to dinner in Galata area. Concierge plotted tram ways for us to explore Kadikoy on the Asian side. Because of the Peninsula, Istanbul has become our favourite gateway to just about the whole European and ME regions.

My friend and I had the pleasure of staying at The Peninsula Istanbul for two unforgettable nights. The hotel's location is perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to the city's treasures. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional, from the impeccable service to the outstanding facilities, including the concierge and the serene Spa. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experiences at The Lobby and Gallada restaurants, where every meal was a delight. The beauty and elegance of the hotel complex truly set it apart. Teşekkür ederim to The Peninsula Istanbul team for creating such a magical experience—we can't wait to return!

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Eray the bellboy who went above and beyond to make sure his guests were satisfied and comfortable during our stay. I cant wait to come back and stay again!

I am only reviewing the spa since I did not stay at this 5-star hotel. First, the hotel is gorgeous. I’d booked a massage within walking distance of my actual hotel (3-star) and this place did not disappoint. I was clearly underdressed for the hotel itself, but that wasn’t an issue, just an observation. Form start to finish, the service was as fancy as the hotel. I was taken to a waiting area and offered a lovely cold herbal tea where I filled out my intake. Then, I was led to the changing room and then to the relaxation room. From there, my massage therapist, Ranchana, came to get me. Thankfully, everyone was kind enough to speak English, but I had my Google Translate ready to go since language is never an expectation of mine. I’ve had many massages around the world and this was probably the best. Ranchana knew exactly what I needed and I was able to receive this amazing experience. Afterward, I was taken back to the relaxation room and given a beautiful tea along with homemade chocolate-dipped granola. I was also offered the opportunity to use the sauna, steam room, or take a swim. I didn’t do any of those but for folks who might enjoy that, I wanted to mention it. The price was high for a 90-min massage, but it was worth every penny, in my opinion, and not shocking given how upscale this hotel was.
