I had another absolutely unforgettable stay at The Peninsula Istanbul, and once again, everything was simply perfect. The location is breathtaking, right on the Bosphorus, where you can listen to the waves and feel completely at peace. It is truly one of the most beautiful settings in Istanbul. The service is absolutely flawless and truly deserving of five stars. Every staff member is kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. The food is delicious, refined, and consistently excellent. I especially love spending time in the fancy lobby, enjoying the atmosphere, the beautiful view, and the wonderful food — it is one of my favorite places to relax. A special thank you to my favorite lobby team member, Dilara, who is always smiling, charming, warm, and absolutely gorgeous. Her presence alone makes the experience even more special. As a small and friendly recommendation, for guests who return regularly, it would be wonderful to see a refreshed or rotating breakfast menu. This would make an already excellent experience even more exciting for loyal guests who love coming back. The spa experience is exceptional. The hammam is without a doubt the best I have ever experienced, and the spa treatments, including the 90 minutes massage with Mrs. Lee are incredibly relaxing and luxurious. Every visit feels like a complete renewal of body and mind. Our New Year’s celebration at The Peninsula has now become a tradition — this was our third year celebrating here, and there is a very good reason we keep coming back. The event is always stunning, fancy, unique, and truly unforgettable. Every detail is perfectly organized, creating magical memories year after year. The band delivered a great performance overall. The music and the singers were amazing and created a wonderful atmosphere for the evening. However, it was disappointing that the Turkish singer performed only three songs. Since the gala took place in Turkey, we would have loved to hear more Turkish songs, as this would have added much more local flavor and excitement to the night. Unfortunately, the DJ was not a successful choice this year. The music selection did not match the energy of a New Year’s Eve celebration and felt like a party killer. Shortly after the DJ started, the party atmosphere faded, and the evening ended earlier than expected. In comparison, the best DJ you have invited so far was the Turkish DJ lady in 2023, who created an excellent and lively party vibe. Regarding the Peninsula Istanbul brunch I can say only one thing- The Best Brunch Ever! We are traveling a lot, tried brunches in Europe, Asia and North America, but at Peninsula Istanbul is the best one! Everyone should enjoy it, not only on 01.01, but every Sunday :). Above all, the most special and meaningful part of my experience at The Peninsula Istanbul is Mrs. Dilara Yılmaz, Guest Service Manager. She is truly the reason we return to The Peninsula again and again — in spring, summer, and winter. Her service goes far beyond expectations. She gives personal attention not only to me but also to my family, always making us feel valued, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. She is absolutely professional in every aspect, incredibly delicate, kind, and always ready to support. What makes her truly exceptional is that she knows her guests personally, remembers preferences, anticipates needs, and creates a feeling of home combined with true luxury. Without her, my stay at The Peninsula would simply not be the same. In conclusion, The Peninsula Istanbul offers a perfect overall experience — from its stunning location and outstanding service to its exceptional spa and unforgettable celebrations. It is a place where luxury meets warmth, and where every stay feels special. I cannot recommend it enough and already look forward to my next visit.

As you would expect from Peninsula, outstanding. The service is top notch and the food excellent, be it in the lobby lounge for breakfast or the restaurant upstairs. Well equipped room with excellent amenities and a well sized bathroom. Outstanding spa, swimming pool and gym. The only mild criticism is the main bar upstairs. It is very small and on a cold evening was not comfortable as the outside terrace doors were wide open and people were smoking on the terrace. Definitely the best hotel in Istanbul (and probably the most expensive).

Rooms & Comfort We stayed in a Superior Bosphorus Room King, which was meticulously designed and equipped with cutting-edge technology. A thoughtful and elegant touch was the delivery of hot tea to our room just five minutes after arrival a small detail that speaks volumes about the level of care and anticipation. Waking up to the Bosphorus view and enjoying morning coffee while observing Istanbul’s skyline and Topkapi Palace through the in-room telescope was truly unforgettable and added a uniquely personal dimension to the stay. Breakfast – A Perfect Start to the Day Breakfast at The Peninsula Istanbul was one of the highlights of our stay. Served as an open buffet in the Lobby, it was outstanding in both quality and variety. From the moment you enter the space, the level of attention and precision in presentation is immediately apparent — elegant, immaculate and highly inviting. All offerings were prepared using premium, fresh ingredients. From an excellent selection of cheeses and cold cuts to hot dishes and bakery items that felt as if they had just come out of an artisanal patisserie, every element exceeded expectations. The pastries and breads, in particular, stood out as exceptional. The service team elevates the experience even further. Tables are attentively managed, empty plates are cleared promptly, and tea and coffee are continuously refreshed — all without ever feeling intrusive or rushed. Combined with the Lobby’s spacious and refined atmosphere, breakfast becomes not just a meal, but a calm and enjoyable morning ritual. Service & Staff – The True Essence of Excellence What truly sets The Peninsula Istanbul apart is its extraordinary level of service and staff professionalism. From the doorman welcoming you at the entrance, to the breakfast service team, to the housekeeping staff, every individual operates with remarkable precision, attentiveness, and genuine warmth. At the helm of this exceptional operation is Mr. Jonathan Crook, who spent the last 11 years as General Manager of The Peninsula New York and played a pivotal role in bringing The Peninsula Istanbul to life. His 25-year journey with the Peninsula brand is clearly reflected in the hotel’s strong corporate culture, consistency, and uncompromising standards. The discipline, elegance, and continuity felt throughout the property are direct results of this leadership vision. Most impressively, this high level of excellence is delivered with a sense of natural ease and authenticity — true luxury without pretension. Final Thoughts The Peninsula Istanbul is far more than a luxury hotel; it is a meticulously crafted experience built on strong leadership, a deeply rooted corporate culture, and an exceptional human touch. We had the most amazing visit at the Peninsula Hotel in Istanbul. Not only is it an absolutely gorgeous hotel but the staff were phenomenal. They got to know us personally and made us really feel at home. Our trip was totally enhanced by their ideas and suggestions and the service they provided. The hotel is beautiful. It was decorated for the holidays with such loving care the supervisor Dilara was really amazing to make sure every detail was met. Making sure we sat outside on the beautiful edge of the buses and drank phenomenal at chocolate. A tour of their beautiful herb garden was a delight and she was so proud to show it her team of Tuna, Nedret, Ondr, and Yonca did so much to make sure we had a great vacation. I hope we get to go back to Istanbul to stay at this amazing hotel. It’s a great city and a great place to visit.

Best hotel in Turkey. Totally recommended. Mr. Ahmetoglu was very helpful in our stay they did everything they could to help us. Great breakfast I like it and will come again.
